• Housekeeping didn't show up two days in a row.

“The El Cortez is excellent. However, the Vintage rooms should be avoided by all but the hardiest of souls.”

• Room was clean, quiet and relaxing. The sitting room was a nice touch.
• Television channels were too few.

“The room was quiet, roomy and had a magnificent view. The casino was well kept and security was good.”

• The tables were so much fun to play at.
• The restrooms were very dirty. After finding them dirty more than twice, I had to go to my room when a restroom was needed.

“This hotel was nice for a last min trip to Vegas. Was pleasantly surprised of the concert held outside our hotel. We are going to stay there in the future!”

• The price was great and the hotel served my purpose.
• The hotel lobby is confusing, elevators and some outside areas smell funny.

“If you are looking for a cheap hotel to stay in that is close to the strip, this would be a good choice. There is a Walgreen's and a small super market close to the hotel. The room was fine and we just used it to crash in the night. Do not go to the Chinese restaurant that is located in the hotel. It is horrible.”

• Affordable and clean with a small, cozy casino.
• Everything in rooms smelled of smoke and we were in non-smokimg.

“First time in Vegas and chose El Cortez for the price. Hotel was clean although the rooms smelled of smoke. Liked the small, friendly casino downstairs. Would stay here again based on the price.”
