  • Great view. Great service, and lots to do.
  • Hidden resort fee upon check-in.

“ Overall, staying at the Stratosphere is great! I was unsure when they charged a resort fee of $7.50 per night when I checked in, but it allows you to go up to the tower with your room key, discounts around the hotel, etc. The view from any of the rooms is great! Overall, a great place to stay in Las Vegas, NV. ”

  • The towers, the room design is excellent.
  • No microwave, no fridge & additional resort fee.

“I love Stratosphere ambiance & its central location but to be honest, it is not suitable for family traveling with younger children as the room is not fully equipped with microwave and fridge. You have to pay additional resort fee on top of the hotel charges, plus they charged you extra for micro/fridge per day. The room design, however, was just lovely. Reminds me of star hotels in Asia, something that is rare to find in the all-too-plain American hotels.”

  • I liked the free drinks at the casino, nothing more.
  • No coffeemaker, bad smell in rooms, and bad manager.

“The Stratosphere Hotel & Casino was nothing special. The carpets were old, the neighborhood wasn't the greatest, and the price was not worth it at all. They have room charges for everything. To include $11.99 for 24 hours of Internet.”

  • Price wasn't worth it when you consider the money you spend in cabs.

“This was a good hotel to stay in if you're looking for a good rate. The employees were nice and very helpful.”

  • The atmosphere was very lively and friendly and the hotel had all the amenities I needed.
  • My stay was too brief.

“My room was very nice and well appointed. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself has so many things to do and it is at the northern beginning of the strip and just south of the Fremont Street experience so it makes for a perfect launching point for all your Vegas Cruising.”

  • The swiming pool.
  • Away from the strip.

“The food was good, the room was very nice and clean. Staff was polite and attentive.”

  • Floor where my room was smelled. broken TV remote in room.

“I have stayed at this hotel before, but in better rooms. My room was a bit rundown and the shower curtain was beginning to mold.”

  • Nothing.
  • Poor service, hard to get to front desk, no efficient AC.

“Its like a motel. AC wasn't working. We complained about it and nobody showed up for 2 hours. Then we requested to change the room. But even that room had same problem AC wasn't efficient. It was really hot in the room. My baby was crying because it was getting hot in there. Finally she slept and then someone in the next room took shower and we could hear it in our room. It took about fifteen minutes for us to reach to the front desk through call.”

  • I liked the rooms layout and the bed was comforatable with goose down blankets and lots of pillows
  • their system for luggage and room service was too much they didnt have a good system of doing things

“When I first arrived the bellman took our belongings to a room and told me i had to call from my room. He was unable to keep my belongings with me. then When upstairs he brought them and all I had was a hundred dollar bill. and 2 dollars in quarters i gave him the 2 dollars he then with an attitude said no he didnt want it. After all of that my stay was alright the maid forced her way in to clean up even though i told her no i didnt want any maid service. she proceeded to come in and tell me just to let her do the trash and floors. I did however have a falling out with girlfriend and they kept her luggage for 2 days until she was able to pick it up. so even though everything else wasnt that great they made up for it in the end.”

  • Good restaurants, nice pool, service in restaurants was very good.
  • Terrible check in procedure, some rude, unfriendly, and arrogant casino staff.

“Arrived at Stratosphere in Vegas at 1:00 in the morning, was on a plane for over 6 hours. All I wanted was to check in and get a good night's sleep in order to enjoy my first trip ever to Las Vegas. My two brothers and I stood in check-in line for over 30 minutes only to find out they did not have any rooms available even though they had confirmed my reservations. They made us wait for one hour before they told us how they were going to fix the situation. They ended up sending us to the Golden Nugget (very nice place) downtown. When we arrived at the Nugget we were helped immediately and had a room within 5 minutes. It was now 3:30 AM, not the start of what was to be a relaxing, exciting stay in Vegas. Even though I was very disgusted with the situation at the Strat when we arrived. I was willing to forgive and forget as we spent the rest of our stay in our originally planned hotel. As the week progressed I was happy with the restaurants (especially Roxy's and Felinni's). Both places were excellent with great service. I was however very disappointed with the casino's staff in particular the attendants at the craps tables. Many were rude and arrogant. I expected so much more. The good news is that all the other casinos that I visited had a much friendlier atmosphere and provided an enjoyable gambling environment. I will never go back to Vegas it was a one time trip for me, and if you are planning a trip for yourself I would not recommend the Strat except for the restaurants. I most certainly would recommend the Golden Nugget or somewhere on the strip.”

  • Restaurant was
    very entertaining, friendly and clean.
  • Too far from the strip, refreshment service in casino too slow.

“Very bright and friendly, courteous. Only thing is that $15.00 for fun book was too much specially not everybody use those facilities.”

  • Shows, there is more then 2 starbucks, nice view.
  • The rooms do not have strip view.

“Great and comfy..we went there for your 1 year anniversary..it was nice. Be ready to pay more asides from what you originally paid for your room on Priceline.”

  • The staff was excellent. Terrific customer service!
  • The color scheme of the hallways and no coffee maker.

“The quality of their customer service was fantastic! I really liked the fact they had a family pool and an adult pool. The color scheme of the hallways and rooms were a little droopy and dated, but the comfort of the beds made up for it. Buffet was okay, but the diner was a lot of fun.”

  • Value.
  • Lines were too long for check-in and buffet.

“For me, I got this at the last minute due to a family emergency. The value I received was fantastic. Certainly not the type of place to be pampered, but the rooms were clean and everyone was friendly.”

  • The room was clean and beds were comfortable.
  • The added $7.50 a night hotel fee.

“Overall, I was very pleased with the room. It was cleaner and the bed were much more comfortable than I expected them to be. It's a great deal for the price I paid. Also, the restaurant options were very adequate and varied. The only thing I didn't like was the hotel fee that we had to pay at check-in.”

  • Swimming pool, staff responds fast.
  • Location.

“Our children really enjoyed the pool. The staff responded immediately and were very nice. I also liked the laundry facilities.”

  • The waitress at the cafe.
  • Very poor service, bad view, noisy and most staff unfriendly, expensive.

“I did not enjoy my stay and this hotel's atmosphere and staff left a bad taste in my mouth, wanting never to return to Vegas.”
