  • The bed was amazing! The room was modern and lovely.
  • The mandatory 20 dollar fee. I argued my way out of it!

“The hotel was great. I got it for 100 bucks and it was more than lovely. Just a short walk from the strip.”

  • Location was great right across the street from bally's sports book.
  • We got there early and had to wait to check in, desk staff was not very friendly didn't let us know when room was ready had to keep checking back with them.

“Great location right across from bally's and short walk to monorail. The hotel was like other Westin I had stayed in, casino was a joke, no fridge in room wasn't good, no soda machines on floor wasn't good, had to walk down to gas station block away to get soda in morning.”

  • The beds were fantastic. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful.
  • We could not even get a seat at the bar.

“The hotel is in a quite location and is very clean. The room would have been perfect if it did not have such a large credenza for the TV stand. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our bathtub was clogged and they sent some right up to fix it and apologized for the inconvenience. The restaurant was very nice (Suede). The female bartenders were a joke but the male ones were great. On Saturday night we could not even get a seat at the bar! Not good! Overall, it was a nice place to stay!”

  • Friendly atmosphere.
  • There is a spa for extra charge but no free pool area.

“Friendly atmosphere, great beds, smallish casino.”

  • The beds and bathroom were top notch.
  • Limited dining facilities, and expensive.

“This was an excellent hotel for the business traveler or the leisure traveler that wanted good access to the strip, but a quieter location and smaller casino area. This was perfect for my travel, very nice room and most importantly comfortable high quality beds and linens.”

  • Clean, relatively quiet.
  • Does not deserve a 4-star.

“Located near the central strip, the hotel is clean and reasonably quiet in a busy Las Vegas. However, the hotel is in no way comparable to a typical 4-star hotel, especially in Las Vegas. Also, a room service fee of $10 was added to each room even though no service was asked for nor provided. When I asked about it at checkout, the desk could not explain what it is either. Of the hundreds of hotels I have stayed in the past 30 years, I have gotten used to many unique tax items, but room service fee without service is a first. I have stayed in much better Westins before, this is definitely not one of them and does not deserve a 4-star.”

  • Location was better than other hotels I stayed in.
  • There is no way this motel is 4 star.

“Small casinos, staff is rude, they don't help you with bags, had to change room twice. Had to come back twice to change room they will not change room on their on. Water won't drain from shower tub. Gave us a room twice where all you can see a dirty roof, touching your window.”

  • Casino was very small.

“Super nice place to stay, worth every penny and more.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[5]

  • The quality of the bed was excellent.

“The hotel wasn't bad; nice rooms, clean, and quiet. The biggest disappointment was the fact that they slip in a $10 per day "resort fee".”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Beds, lobby decoration-flowers, not hectic-no check-in/out lines.
  • Vacant lot between it & the strip.

“All in all I was very pleased with the Westin Casuarinas. The beds and linens were to die for - so welcome after a hard day of casino hopping. We appreciated the more quite, less hectic atmosphere and the short or non-existent lines in Registration. All the staff was helpful, friendly, and pleasant.”

  • It was very quaint, a nice serene environment a great change from the normal chaos in Vegas.
  • The only think when I called room service I was place on hold for a long time.

“Overall I think this hotel was great for the price - I definitely would consider staying there again. The rooms and the staff overall were excellent. My co-worker also raved on how awesome the spa was in the hotel.”

  • The beds were very comfortable and the shower was excellent.
  • The hotel charged an extra $10 per day for use of facilities that we didn't use.

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice with excellent bed and shower. Very unhappy about the $10 charge per day, none of the other hotels that are actually on the strip charge a fee like this. To make things worse, we didn't even use the facilities that we paid extra for.”

“Good for the price - especially if you are a couple and can't split the more expensive hotels.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[10] • Location:[3]

  • Staff was polite and professional.
  • The hotel is located far off the strip kind of shady at night.

“The Westin Casurina is a nice hotel located a long block off the strip on Flamingo Blvd. The staff was attentive and always nice and the rooms were clean with plenty of amenities in the hotel. Gym was nice, but small and the men's spa area had a steam room, sauna with complimentary juices and water with stacks of clean towels. Pool facilities were small, clean and had cabannas for rent. I would return to this hotel, but bring plenty of money for cab fare at night.”

  • Accommodating staff, clean hotel.
  • Initially put in a room on 3rd floor with view of a wall, neighbors rowdy at 3:30 AM.

“Staff wonderfully accommodating, were able to switch my room to a higher floor. Security quickly sent to rowdy neighbors after 10pm.”

  • The room was comfortable and very clean. Staff was all very friendly.
  • Needs a cafe for a quick sandwich and provide umbrellas for shade near the pool.

“The hotel was an easy walk to the Vegas Strip. Loved the fact that it was a "smoke" free facility. The hotel was very clean and well lit.”

  • There was nothing I liked about this hotel.
  • NA.

“After being promised a room with two beds, we were sent to a room with a bed and a roll away cot. Our hostess at the front desk told us "I have to tell you, this isn't the best room." Great start! After being promised that the one-bed room was only a temporary inconvenience and being guaranteed that we would have a room with two beds the next day, the hotel was unable to come through on their promise.”

  • None, really.
  • The creamer that goes with my coffee the next morning were expired and I almost didn't notice.

“I got this horrible experience with their coffee creamer being expired, which I almost drank by the way.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Smoke free environment, less casino atmosphere.
  • Pool does not have kid section, additional +$10/night of hotel service charge.

“The Westin was nice located away from the busy Las Vegas Strip. The hotel gives you more of a feeling of a hotel than a casino, although there is a small casino section in the center lobby. The hotel/casino supposes to be a smoke free environment but you still smell the smoke but not overwhelming. The hotel's atmosphere is quiet & less party atmosphere unlike other hotels on the strip. It's a great place to take the family or business.”

  • Location, staff and rooms great.
  • Cashiers very unfriendly at casino.

“Hotel is great, service excellent. The cashiers are very unfriendly though. Also the hotel offers a $40 slot machine card when you spend $25.”
