“I thought the place was quite charming as the newer casinos have changed the experience tremendously. Of course no one would find the luxury of the newer hotels a BAD thing, but in places like this and downtown Las Vegas you get a glimpse of what the place was like in the 70's and 80's when Vegas was more about the gambling first over the glitz. Not sure why others above did not like the hypnosis comedy show, they must have been severely prudish. Absolutely hilarious. Very well done and unlike many other X-rated hypnosis shows, NOT rude or demeaning to the participants. Good clean fun. So he swears a lot. Makes the show funny in context. See it. You won't be disappointed.”

“Way over priced for weekend stay. Would have been better off staying at a motel 6”

“We didn't stay at Bourbon Street - thank goodness. We went there to see the Micheal Johns Hypnotist show. First, the casino is horrible. They only have like 50 slots and not even a good assortment of them. The bathroom was worse than my high school. The show was so bad that we almost walked out, he just used a few swear words and that was his”

“I did not like the hotel, or staff. When we got their we were told that we could not get a king size bed. We went to the bar and casino the bar tender gave me a hard time to get free drinks because I was standing beside a machine while letting my wife sit. She charged me for the drink, and told me if I was not sitting in a seat I could not get a free beer. My wife is missing her leg due to cancer, and I let her sit while we played together. And to top it off there are no irons or boards in the room. My wife needed an iron to touch up her clothes. When she called the desk they told her to go down to the desk and leave a $20.00 deposit, and they made her carry the iron back to our room. She got angry at the guy at the desk, and the guy told her "no one forced you to stay here". ”

“The Bourbon Street Hotel was absolutely awful!!!! The staff were not at all friendly or helpful. You felt as if you put them out when you asked a question. The property is horrible- dirty, vandalized, smelled horrible. There were cigarette burns all over the floors, the walls were filthy and patched, the room didn't even have an alarm clock! The safe didn't work, we barely got hot water. You have to leave a $20 deposit to use the hair dryer and they want it back within the hour. The absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in! Would never go back to this hotel- even if I was paid to stay there!”

“This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. It was extremely old and badly in need of renovation. I would not have walked on the rug without having shoes on or something on my feet. The food in the restaurant was very bad. It was definitely not up to the standards for one of your two star hotels. I would not even classify it as a one star hotel.”
