“Loved The Carriage House. Have been to the Fairfield Grand Desert several times before, but needed to use some banked timeshare points so had to go out of Fairfield to use them. We were much happier here than at FGD. First, the people - genuinely friendly and want to make your stay great. From the check in to the daily maid service to the checkout. Had a question about the pillows as I'm allergic to feathers and they told me where to find the polyester-fill ones in the room or I could call them back. And this was after midnight! Next, the cleanliness of the room, plus we got daily maid service - even owners at FGD don't get that! Room was large and furniture nicely divided the living room from bedroom so you didn't mind not having a wall. There were only my husband and I so we didn't need a wall for privacy. LARGE kitchen - almost a shame to not eat in more often. Full size refrigerator and freezer, range, dishwasher. Dining area part of extra large living / bedroom area. Bathroom was on the small size, but big enough to do what you got to do there. Anyway, who wants to spend a lot of time in a bathroom with all that Vegas has to offer! Nice size outdoor pool with their own pool towels there. No outsiders allowed there - must use room key to get into pool area. Covered parking available onside, so your car isn't another oven when you get into it in the summer. Vending machines in the lobby can't be accused of price gouging, like some in Vegas. Easy walking distance to Alladin/Desert Passage Shops. I wish I could stay there more often with my timeshare points! I probably would every year I go to LV.”

“First- we were not informed ahead of time that the hotel was undergoing a renovation so we were awakened very early in the AM by drilling and pounding in the adjacent room. The hotel staff was kind of enough to move us but they never should have put my family in that room to begin with.
The location was ok. A couple blocks from the strip but you had to take an alley street to find the hotel. The rooms are small but adequate. There is a pool and a very nice resturaunt in the Penthouse. You have to walk several blocks to the MGM Grand hotel to catch the metro train- not the best for business tracelers.”
