• Very nice room and great location in the strip!
• Walls were thin and could hear some noise from next door at times.

“This was a very nice hotel and great location on the strip. There is currently construction in the area (July 2008) and we could hear some of that construction but this would be the case from any of the other hotels in the area (including the Bellagio). Request a room facing the front of the hotel, the construction noise may be better from there. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a large king-size bed and it was wonderful. The buffet was a great deal and the food was very good. They also have a economical food court area off the lobby including McDonald's, Starbucks, Sbarro's, Subway and more. This was very convenient. Overall, we had a great visit to Las Vegas and am very happy with the Monte Carlo!”

• The parking situation was miserable, across the street and outdoors in full sun.

“Not a bad choice if you want a great strip location and don't mind hiking across the street to a car roasting in the sun each time you need to use your car or get something from it.”

• The restaurants were great!
• The rooms are very small!

“Great location on the strip, excellent restaurants! Casino is a bit smaller than we would have liked. The rooms were tiny in comparison to other hotels on the strip that we have stayed. Would have liked to see a mini refrigerator in the rooms as well.”

• It's in a great location and has a lot to offer.
• The construction going on and the brew pub is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

“Was a great experience, didn't have a great view this time with all of the construction but it was still a fantastic trip.”

“The Monte Carlo was a big disappointment. Our room was not very clean. There was a stain on the carpet where someone had spilled a red drink of some kind all over the floor and the floor was still damp! There was no cable TV. You would expect cable in a supposedly 4 star hotel. The staff did not apologize after placing a $25 charge to my credit card after I had already paid for the buffet. The walls in the room were very thin, so the hotel was very noisy. The bedspread and sheets were shabby looking. I would not recommend it to anyone!”

• The location on the strip was nice. The staff was very kind of and attentive.
• The non-smoking room we requested smelled very strongly of smoke.

“My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Monte Carlo. We liked its location on the strip and its proximity to other wonderful casinos. The gentleman helping us at the check-in desk, Rueben, was quite exceptional.”

• The location on the strip was nice. The staff was very kind of and attentive.
• Our non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke.

“I would definitely return to the Monte Carlo on my next trip to Las Vegas. The staff was exceptional at the check-in desk. Despite the construction going on next door to the hotel our stay was quite lovely.”

• Friendly at check-in/out and bell hop, great location.
• Slow room service, bad smell by the pool, room floors dirty.

“We had a lot to do in only 2 days, so we just needed a hotel that was in a great location for walking to see other sites. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. We won't stay here again. Next time, we will plan a more leisurely trip and will want to spend more time at the hotel itself. Too many other neat hotels on the strip to stay at a mediocre one.”

• The pool is awesome.
• Staff was not helpful with special requests.

“Great stay. Fun pool for kids. Public areas are great - rooms are average. Rooms nice and clean and what you need. Great location for easy access to the strip.”

• The location was perfect.
• We had to move rooms in the middle of our stay as they were remodeling the room above.

“The hotel was nice. Good location, good restaurants. We asked to be moved after our second night because they were remodeling the room above us and it was so loud! Beds were a tad uncomfortable.”
