  • Excellent location. Very clean and nice too, although it looks really old from outside!
  • The lobby is barely there!

“Excellent location on the Strip, very value for money!”

  • Nice location, comfy bed & pillows. Nice bathroom.

“I liked the hotel, right in the middle of everything. Shuttles from airport much cheaper than cab. Check-in was nice. Big television. Bed was firm which I like. Pillows very comfy. Air conditioning worked very well, cooled room very quick. Bar downstairs had cheap drinks. Bad service though. Would take at least 5 minutes to get drinks. Music not too good. Go to the Piano Bar at the Harrahs for good live music.”

  • Nice flat screen TV.
  • Service was horrible and staff was rude.

“When we arrived and checked in, no one helped us with our luggage or even offered to. We got to our rooms, they were decent nice flat screen TV, but they only got like 6 channels and most were Spanish and news. The housekeeping was okay, they made up our room whenever we had the sign on the door handle to do so. But, the service was horrible and the staff was rude. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!”

  • I liked how the rooms were very easy to get to and close to the casino floor.
  • Front desk was horrible and when I need to go to them they were less than helpful.

“The hotel itself was small and very easy to get around in! I liked the location and the restaurant was nice and the wait staff was pleasant. The Casino floor workers were very friendly. The only downside was if you need anything from the front desk you will be greatly disappointed. They were less than helpful anytime. Customer service sure was lacking.”

  • Central location
  • No coffeemakers in room, very noisy

“Some of the carpets in the entryway were very dirty. The worse thing was no coffeemakers in the room.”

  • Very authentic and well maintained.
  • No place for children to even stand when parents where purchasing anything near the casino.

“Authentic Western style motif that was true to character and done in very good taste.”

  • Large, comfortable room overlooking Bellagio, very convenient location.
  • 2 minute phone call from room cost $26.00 while card on phone said cost is $1.25 plus I received an unsympathetic, demeaning tone from desk clerk.

“The casino itself reminds me of outdated Reno, but once I found my way to the room, WOW. The room was overlooking the Bellagio fountains (with a window open you can clearly hear the music too), large king size bed, big screen TV; overall just very clean and new. I was very pleased. I dined at the restaurant, and here too I was very pleased. From the room, I called a friend and told him to call me back (I didn't have my cell phone). 2 minutes/$26.00. Upon mentioning this to the desk clerk, I was treated like I was a idiot for not having a cell and rudely educated that these are standards phone rates at all hotels. The phone issue was the only bad taste left in my mouth upon leaving bills.”

  • Great location, right in the middle of the Vegas strip.
  • Hotel housekeeping did not come as expected.

“Great location and small hotel made the experience more enjoyable. A very nice getaway from Vegas lights and noise. Also, the small casino in the Lobby served as a smooth transition to the other bigger casinos. Overall great experience and 42"plasma served as icing on the cake.”

  • I arrived early in the morning and by 9 AM I got the room; room was excellent with a nice flat screen TV.
  • No mini fridge on the room.

“Hotel is excellent for budget travelers. Perfect location right in the middle of the strip. I also loved the 99 cents Margaritas. I will definitely stay again here on a next trip.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[7] • Location:[10]

  • Character and charm, better than all of the newer casino/hotels on the strip.
  • Asked for non-smoking, king room, received smoking double queen room.

“For being the oldest casino/hotel on the strip, it was definitely the one I would recommend over the rest. Rooms were inexpensive but had a luxurious feel with the rich, dark wood furniture and Victorian theme. There was even a stained glass window in the shower that opened to the outside to let out the excess steam. The restaurants were wonderful, For an authentic Vegas experience, stay here.”

  • The location is good, cause is near to the strip.
  • The service and the attitude of the staff was very bad and disappointing.

“I will not want to stay in this hotel again in my future trip to Las Vegas.”

  • It was very convenient and very friendly overall!
  • There is really not anything that I disliked.

“This hotel was everything it was written up to be. It is right in the heart of the strip in Las Vegas, it was very amenable for me as a traveler. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and fresh in every way. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.”

  • Good location, good value for the $.
  • Noisy A/C, access to pool was poor (hotel next door).

“Good value and much better inside then from the outside look. Hotels need some updating (new windows to limit street noise) but overall comfortable and clean. Great & helpful stuff overall.”

  • Bad day.
  • I felt dirty.

“Good casino. 1 dollar margaritas. Excellent location. I liked the room. There was only a tub though, no shower. Big bathroom. Bed was big. I felt dirty taking a bath in a hotel in Vegas. That's just me.”

  • Excellent location on the strip, in the middle of everything!
  • No pool at hotel, but can use the flamingo pool with your key.

“I'm a frequent Vegas visitor and finally chose Bill's Gambling Hall - will definitely stay here again; hope that their purchase by the Flamingo group doesn't bode ill for the value and 'quaintness' of the property.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[5] • Location:[10]

  • It was cheap and central on the Vegas strip.
  • The front desk staff had a very poor attitude.

“If you are looking for an inexpensive room on the strip, this is it. We asked a king room and the front desk tried to give us a twin. They did fix the problem, but I cannot say anything good about the front desk staff. The bell staff was very helpful. No coffee in the room!”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[10]

  • Great location and best prices on the strip for drinks and food.
  • Smoky, cheesy decor.

“The decor might be cheesy, but the casino is a nice small size that lets you get in and out of your room quickly. Dollar margaritas and great prices on food and drinks are exactly what you need in high-priced Vegas. Using the beautiful, but crowded Flamingo pool is convenient. You can't beat the location.”
