“I thought the Venetian was just OK. It was clean, but things were beginning to wear. Internet access was slow and not scaled for business use. For high end hotel no turn down service. I don't think it was worth the rating. The Ritz Carlton, W and even some of the Kimpton hotels are better quality and in some cases better priced. The walls were extremely thin - you could hear the neighbor's normal level conversation word for word and people's TVs. Woke up one morning to sound of person throwing up in hallway. Maid did not check back one day when we wanted a later room cleaning to provide fresh towels etc. For the level of hotel I expected better service and better general quality. Lighting in the room was extremely poor. I could barely see to put on my makeup. Very bad for working in the room too.”

“Staff were helpful but everyone had different rules about cards resulting in lost time at black jack tables. Surprised at lack of hair dryer, shower cap and no ice in room. Safe was unable to open due to code change. Late help was very nice and fixed problem with safe.”

“Room was spacious, large, nice view of the strip on the 24th floor. Some of the furniture, carpeting, walls seemed worn down needed to be painted, replaced etc. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.”

“Firstly parked in the wrong lane (how were we to know? we'd not been there before), so no one could help with our luggage or valet park the car, until it was moved over by 1 line. Queued for ages to checking. There was an issue with our (UK) Mastercard being declined - but apparently a common problem in the Venetian with UK residents (as due to extra checks required for UK card providers, but fortunately worked in local stores). We left all our remaining cash with the desk, and the next day rang the credit card people who said there was no problem at their end. The issue was resolved by using an alternative card (which was packed in one of the bags). Funnily enough our card company rang us during the stay, to check for suspect transactions - one of which was the hotel charge, which the Venetian said had been declined - possibly because it had been attempted on more than one day - funny how if it had been declined that it was showing on our bill! Our stay was spoilt by 2 disturbed nights tossing and turning and wondering how to pay for our stay. Anything used in the bathroom, was removed by the cleaners, so over a couple of days ran out of towels and anything being used!”

“We really enjoyed our trip and most of all staying in the Venetian Hotel. If we come back and visit Las Vegas again we would like to stay again in the Venetian Hotel.”

“The hotel was beyond my expectations, the room was stunning! With every amenity you could ask for, a tub, bathrobes, beautiful bathroom, a living room area, with a copy/fax machine! The pool was perfection! It was like paradise!”

“The Venetian offers every amenity you could possibly need! You don't even have to leave the hotel, as it has different pools, tons of fabulous dining (or food court on the fly) and shopping, gambling, spa, you name it. It is one of the best in Vegas, and I recommend it to anyone who has the chance to stay there!”

“The hotel generally is beautiful - the suites are clean and luxurious. There is plenty to see and do within the hotel. There are, perhaps, too many areas within the hotel, especially the casino where smoking is permitted which makes sitting in the vicinity unpleasant.”

“There was high speed internet for $10 and was too weak in our tower for it to work. You can take a laptop to the lobby for free WiFi. The shops in their mall run along fake canals with an incredibly realistic sky above. The room was very nice, though the suite was really just an extra wide hotel room with a half pillar and half height room divider.”

“This hotel fits into the category of tries too hard. Decor is not particularly well done. Moreover, a large percentage of the rooms do not have a view because of the lay out of the hotel. The pool was adequate but not particularly stellar as one might expect from a five star hotel. The gym was nice but very expensive.”

“The hotel was beautifully decorated and
the room was lovely. There is a lot to see and do inside the hotel with no need of leaving. There was more to do in the hotel then we had time for and plan to return.”
