“It was a bit of a ways from the strip. Older, but overall it was good room for the price.”

“After attending our eldest son's wedding in Los Angeles I booked the hotel on priceline for my husbands birthday and we were very pleased with our stay, the location is a bit far, we took the double decker to the main strip and then enjoyed the walk back to the hotel (we hadn't realized that we had walked that far back)”

“The hotel seems like it has never been remodeled since the day it opened. All of the furniture was old and broken and never replaced since the day it opened. The shelf had cigarette burns on it, the carpet was stained, the hallways to the rooms smelled. The workers at the casino were rude and not friendly. The buffet quality was not good for the price. It costs $15.00 for breakfast and no one comes to serve you drinks. You have to get it all on your own. The food was horrible! It was all dried out from sitting all day and seemed like they only heated up pre-made food and didn't make any of it from scratch. The pool looked nice, but wasn't heated and closed early. The location of the hotel is not convenient since it is at the end of the strip. It is close to the monorail, but the monorail costs $5 each trip. You could drive your own car and valet at each casino for free and only pay the guy $1 which is a lot cheaper then having to pay $5 to get to the other end of the strip and then another $5 to get back. Don't waste your money. Go somewhere else! They need to tear down the place and start new if they ever want me to go back there again. It would have been just as cheap and nicer to stay at a Best Western just off the strip instead of here. That's pretty bad.”

“This hotel will no longer be one I select. They also wanted $ 12.99 for internet service per day! The facility is showing its age. Carpets were torn, hallway walls showed rub marks. The shower unit had loose chrome pieces.”

“I travel quite a bit and this hotel really made me feel icky, it wasn't clean and appliances were broken, rusting. Sheets and carpet and walls were stained. Will not stay here again.”

“Good Experience, First time there and nothing to complain about. In the room everything worked and was clean. We asked for non-smoking and the room actually was! Not a hint of smoke in it.”

“Great location at the end of the strip, across from the Stratisphere, with monorail link in the hotel to other end of the stip, if you choose to walk through all the strip sites. Pool very nice, able to spend hours relaxing without crowds! The is great showes in the hotel, and great buffet - with great deals if you join the club for free!
mini shots, beer, and hotdogs! What more can you ask for!”

“When we arrived there was a long line for check-in and the front desk clerk told us there would be another $6.00 charge for maintenance facility tax. Would never stay at this hotel again.”

“My family and I enjoyed the buffet, the Caravan Cafe and the Casino areas. There were too just too many kids running around the casino. On some occasions they were told leave the casino area, and and on some occasions they went unnoticed.”

“People shouldn't complain about this hotel. Its not a high quality hotel but for the prices you pay you shouldn't expect absolute resort quality. It provides good quality basic accommodations at a low price. As an added bonus its very convenient to be on the monorail. Don't expect to get a good deal on WIFI though, thats the one major ripoff point. Beside that complaint I'd definitely recommend this place.”

“The bathroom facuet dripped, the carpets were very dirty, the room service personnel were a little slow at picking up the dinner from the room next door, saw food and dirty plates in the hallway for about 2 days, very disgusting.”

“Sahara had a great view of the city's black mountain side. I could also see the Stratosphere casino. There was a gift shop and McDonald's in walking distance. All the staff were extremely polite every single time. If I looked lost someone would immediately assist me.”

“What a dump. The rooms were old and tired, the staff was pushy about trying to set up appointments for time shares (and had to be told quite forcefully that we were not interested since they didn't appear to understand what "no thank you" meant), the food was expensive and not very good. So just avoid this place.”

“Think Motel 6 quality, and that describes this hotel. For the price, I thought it was an excellent value. It is definitely for the economy traveler going to Vegas on a budget. The room itself was standard, and expected. The lobby area was a bit dirty. It rained while I was there, and the lobby had buckets to catch the rain coming through the ceiling. The casino was empty, which is great if you want to play at a table alone.”
