“I flew in to stay the weekend with my boyfriend who is a furniture moving trucker in June of 07. He stays there all the time because it's a cheap place to stay the night. The room was not first class by any means, but it served it's purpose. The casino staff was the most friendly of the whole facility. The part that bothered me was the local hookers that appeared on occasion--once taking our cab right out from under us by jumping in it before we got to it even though we had called for it and waited 20 minutes. It is what it is--a truck stop casino so I had no great expectations.”

“I thought the hotel was easy to get to. I was very surprised of the cleanliness of the rooms. Because the outside of it sort of looked run down a bit.”

“The hotel was not in a very safe area. When I called to ask about a shuttle to the strip, the lady was very rude and expected that I should now to just call a cab. As I was checking out I explained that we had waited for about an hour and a half for the water to be turned on, I received no apology”

“The Hotel management were efficient and friendly. The staff itself at least one guy was not helpful or very friendly. It is a noise hotel we were on the bottom and we could hear people above us really well. Plus the showers go from warm to cold to hot without changing the temperature yourself. Our second room was very clean. Suites I guess get more attention then the regular rooms.”

“Book early some where else! The money you spend on a better hotel the less money you'll need for cabs.”

“Overall, this was a good value if what you want is a good night's sleep and a hot shower. Although there were a couple of aesthetic issues (re-surfaced shower cracking, dim lighting), the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful.”

“Rooms are nice and clean got fresh towels everyday, bathroom very small but OK. Good location the cap is about $10 to the strips about a 10 min. walk to New York New York I think the hotel location is good for the really good price that we got compared to all the other hotels on the strip.”

“Close to strip and I-15, it was the cheapest thing in town during a big convention. Facility was ugly and next to a truck stop, but the room was clean. Remote control on TV did not work. Restaurant's food was good and affordable, but the service was glacially slow and inattentive. Staff generally helpful and friendly. All who answered the phone were native English speakers - a definite plus. A decent, convenient, and relatively affordable place to lay your head in Vegas. Not a destination.”

“I'm usually a very positive person but this was terrible. Not pleased at all with my stay. I will never go back. Why? Because a heavy picture fell off the wall in the middle of the night. The smoke-free room was smoky. The toilet ran all night. It was very noisy. I waited 5 hours to check in. There were not enough power outlets. The bed and sheets were low quality.”

“We were there for a security trade show. All hotels were booked and the choice was non existent. Room was not pleasant to stay in all day, so had to go elsewhere all day while husband worked the convention and meetings. It was just a place to sleep and dress. The tub had cigarette burns stains all over and the steps and concrete were disgustingly stained. Could not get king bed, but they made up the two beds fresh the second day, beds were adequate, but not real comfortable. The light switch on bedside light was broken making the reading light inoperable. They forgot the 6:30 a.m. wake up call for our other business associate. Not a hotel to recommend unless there is no other, sort of a truck stop. At least there were no bugs, rodents.”

“The hotel was a blue collar casino. It was off the Vegas strip by about a half mile. It is not a bad place to go and gamble if you are put off by the tourist attractions of the 'Vegas strip. Their sports book was not up to date, since they kept the odds board with markers. the price was a little high for that part of town. I did enjoy my short stay.”

“I wanted a cheap, convenient hotel, so my expectations were not very high. The overall hotel was clean, expect the maids never actually cleaned our room during our 3 day stay (and I think they stole from us). The place was pretty much a truck stop and the other travelers were pretty seedy. But it was very close and convenient to the strip, and the restaurant was good. I would suggest this place to any budget, last minute traveler, but if you can afford it, stay on the strip”
