“The hotel staff was extremely nice. The curtains in the room were falling down. The Wi-Fi did not work. The breakfast buffet closed early on our first morning there despite having checked the hours of operation with both the afternoon and night front desk clerks. There was a lot of smelly dog poop in the gravel outside of the side entrance. Not worth. Also, the front desk staff nearly charged my credit card again for my stay. Seemed that they were not trained well.”

“The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Common area was attractive. I was a concerned when we expressed dissatisfaction with a broken bed frame and how uncomfortable it was I was advised the manager was not there and would pass that along. Neither empathy nor other accommodations were made. Staff not left to own the business and do what was right for the customer.”

“This hotel is basic and clean with friendly, casual staff. If you're looking for highly trained "yes man's, yes sir" staff, you'll be disappointed by the casual, friendliness of this family operated hotel. Location is about 3-5 minutes off the strip, and very close to the little-known frontage roads that let you zip from one end of the strip to the other without the jams on i-15 or the clogging and lights on lass Vegas blvd. Walgreen's, gasoline, and fast food are close. About 10 minutes drive to the airport and rental car returns. No gambling onsite. On the downside: adult amenities across the street, ac/heating unit in room are hi-med-lo variety, not controlled by thermostat. In Feb. 07, some remodeling of rooms was starting. Continental breakfast includes boiled eggs, muffins, fruit, cereal, juice coffee and the make-your-own Belgian waffles.”

“It was convenient in that it was very close to the bus stop and a short ride on the bus to the strip. The staff was mostly friendly, but was very busy and a bit curt. We did originally get put in a smoking room that was just unbearable and they were able to move us right away to a non-smoking room.”

“Every time we left the hotel, there were people (not staying at the hotel) loitering around the vehicles in the parking lot. There were people asking for money and such. My family and I never felt very safe. In fact, we left the hotel at 4:00 am just to get out of there. I would feel safer if the hotel and the parking lot were gated - or something to that effect. We will NOT stay there ever again!!”

“When I checked in, Jason was not friendly or helpful. I asked for a non-smoking room 3 times & he said it was. When I walked down to the rooms, they were both smoking. When I went back to change them he said it was my mistake for asking for a smoking room online. I said I asked him 3 times in front of him. He ignored me. One room was non-smoking & one seemed to be a smoking room w/ the ashtrays taken out. There was not a non-smoking sign outside of it. The room itself was ok. The breakfast room was clean & the staff very helpful & friendly. Then when we checked out, he had checked us in wrong & we were going to be charged twice. Maria handled it nicely.”

“The main floor looked nice and after walking downstairs the hotel started looking more and more decrepit the closer to the room. The bed was so bad that if sitting or laying on the bed you would end up sunk down in the middle. We told the hotel staff that the bed was broken after only being there for 20 min. The response was, "OK, I will let them know" and nothing was done about it. I took pictures of the broken bed and the torn carpets, and the mildew/mold growing in the shower area. I would not stay here again. I have stayed at LaQuinta in other cities and have never been disappointed. This LaQuinta is a very big disappointment for the LaQuinta chain.”
