“I complained to the office about the damp carpet and smell and they moved me to a much nicer suite with no extra charge. I probably would no go to Emerald Suites again simply because I would want the nicer accommodations but would not be able to afford them.”

• Location, simplicity and good sized kitchen.
• Very uncomfortable beds, hallway smell, & no cable avaiable for internet.

“This is a great place for a family on a budget. Good sized kitchen and plenty of room all around. But bring your own pillow at least because the beds are not comfortable!”

• The 2 bedroom was good.
• No cooking utensils, being moved to south end of the strip 6 miles away not good.

“Our original hotel we reserved had a water break so they moved us to their other hotel which was far from the strip, not in a very good neighborhood; they did not offer a comp on the room either since we had to drive another 1/2 hour to the other hotel. No WiFi, rooms were old needs to be remodeled.”

• Suite was like an apartment. Felt like I lived there.
• Aged. It needs to be updated and repainted and lit.

• Location was decent. Nice to have complimentary shuttle service to airport. Bus route stopped right next to hotel.
• Paper thin walls and ceilings and towels. Hot water ran out in shower.

“Convenient location. Easy to get to Vegas strip via 10 minute bus ride (runs all night). Across the street from a major casino (Orleans). Bring earplugs as the walls and ceilings are as thin a their towels! We had a great time!”

• Full kitchen with dishes, a balcony, and roomy. Felt like an apartment.
• The room numbers are awkwardly arranged in different buildings.

“Great location- a three minute cab ride away from The Strip, or just walk across the street to "The Orleans".”

• Spacious accommodations. Included laundry and pool. Great for kids.
• Noisy plumbing from other guest rooms, and due to inside doorways/access, lots of banging of doors and foot traffic.

“We needed extra blankets and pillows but housekeeping and facilities were closed at 5, before we arrived. Very inconvenient and inflexible. The head of security was at the front desk upon check in and told us housekeeping had gone for the day.”

• The room had a balcony, its own kitchen, and really hot shower water. Oh yeah, and it was mostly quiet.
• The smell of the room was kind of toxic. Like burnt plastic .and the area seemed sketchy.

“I didn't expect more or less from this hotel. I'm actually happy with what I got considering what I paid. It smelled a little funny in my room. But other than that the people were very friendly and the kitchen was big and clean. Everything seemed really well kept! I was happy with it all in all.”

• Friendly staff and good location.
• Late night calls. People yelling in the halls late at night.

“This hotel was great for the money. The staff was very friendly and was great to work around our problems. I didn't appreciate the late night calls that kept waking us up and the noise in the halls. Other than that, it was great!”

• Separate bed rooms were nice. Kitchen was nice.
• No elevator! Climb to 3rd floor with luggage was hard.

“Rooms were quiet. Would have been nice to have TV in bedrooms instead of central room. Would also be nice to have a DVD player. But really need an elevator for access.”

• Like staying in a small apartment.
• Ice machine broke, noisy.

“Impressed with the room and cleanliness. Although we were on vacation, this would be really great for business travelers. The bare necessities are provided for cooking. Staff is friendly.”

• Great hotel for extended stays. Big kitchen for cooking.
• No elevators. Only 1 television for 2 bedrooms.

“The hotel is great for persons on extended stays. The kitchen allows you cook meals and save money that cut into spending budget. Its located literally steps from a casino with a movie theatre, bowling alley and restaurants.”

• Suite Size room was nice.
• No TV in Bedroom. No Elevator to 3rd Floor. No ice machine.

• Cleaning staff was rude at check-out.

“Nice and clean. Front desk personnel very nice. Housekeeping staff rude at check-out. Yelling at customers to hurry up and check out and that they did not "want any late check-outs" because they "would be there until 8:00 pm cleaning" if there are late check outs."”

• Nothing.
• There was no elevator and we where on the third floor with disabled person.

“Was not able to accommodate our needs and not enough hot water and no cooking utensils, this was a flea bag motel for trinkets. Disabled persons are not accommodated. Smelly furnishing, with broken down sofas. And cleaning staff did not pay attention to details.”

• The layout of the suite was extremely nice!
• Tub drain busted, no heat! (Staff wouldn't fix it, actually hung up on us!)

“Emerald Suites Cameron offers an extremely comfortable physical room environment. However, don't count on heat when you need it, don't expect to take a bath, don't expect the smoke detector to have batteries, and expect to be hung up on by the front desk when you request any of these things to be serviced! Absolutely the worst hotel service I've ever experienced.”
