• Accommodating.
• Terribly breakfast, rude waiter, no elevator on2nd floor.

“Decent, very good front desk. Room was fine. Double headed shower was interesting. Terrible breakfast experience in the hotel restaurant. God awful food twice. Broken stairs outside of room and no elevator led to extensive extra walking.”

• I really liked the bedding at the hotel. Very comfortable.
• Lighting was not good over mirror and some light bulbs in the room were burned out.

“Overall, this is a very nice hotel. I have stayed here a number of times and have always been pretty pleased. Occasionally, small things like burned out light bulbs, but overall, very nice.”

• The double shower heads were nice and the staff was friendly.
• There were stains on the floors in the room.

• Was cheap.
• Not a lot going on in the hotel.

“Bar was dead, restaurant was dead, pool was the only place that had about 10 people in it.”

• It met our needs very well.
• It was too cold and the weather had gotten cooler unexpectedly.

“It was a good experience. Even though it was cold, the maintenance man did everything he to make our stay good. He provided extra blankets and he was very helpful.”

• Friendly staff and good price.
• Noisy, poor electrical sockets, water leaks, flies in bathroom.

“This is an affordable hotel reasonably close to downtown Boise with a courteous and helpful staff. On the downside, the rooms are in desperate need of renovation with poor quality electrical sockets, water leaking through walls, old carpets and some minor bug issues in the rooms.”

• Overpriced food in the restaurants.

• The pool and the warm cookies.
• Not very clean, updated. Did not smell fresh or clean. Chairs, mini-refrigerators, blankets were in halls the whole time of our stay.

“I would not say this was a 3 star hotel. I would rate this hotel as a 2 star. There was soap left in the shower from the people before us. There was chairs, mini-refrigerators, blankets, tray in the hallways the entire time of our stay not just while the maids were cleaning. There was not a clean fresh smell in the rooms, hallways, or lobby area. When you opened the curtains to the windows, there were cobwebs everywhere. We kept those closed the whole time. We were unable to receive that connection. The fitness room was so hot! We worked out and there was no AC in there. That was miserable. We were not that impressed with the hotel. The two things we liked was the pool and the warm cookies.”

• Loved the location on the river, with Joe's Crab Shack next door.
• Bar food bad with loud music.

“We rented bikes (they delivered them to the hotel) and rode on those to almost every major attraction in Boise. The river route is gorgeous!”

• It was fine, not that clean and toilet stopped up.
• It was a long way to the front desk.

“We had a toilet overflowing and called the front desk. They said they would be right there, about a half hour later we had to call back and wait for them to come another 15 minutes or so. It was good I knew how to shut the water off. It was all over the place.”

• Location (Industrial district). General appearance of grounds and hotel.

“Hotel was quite nice in it's heyday. It's heyday was years ago. Located in industrial area. Parking lot appeared seedy. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Bed was very nice. Large tub was enjoyed.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• Huge hotel, I was on one end and had to walk a long way to the lobby.

“It's a very large hotel located in the middle of Boise. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean and spacious. The one downside is the hotel is so large it makes for a long walk to other parts of the hotel (i.e. lobby or pool) if not in the right location. Very nice hotel I'd stay there again.”

• The beds were very comfortable, the pool was great, very friendly staff! Also, the shower was the best ever!
• Room was not cleaned completely, furniture was chipped & cheap looking, curtains had holes, furniture was faded/torn.

“Not what I have come to expect from Doubletree! The staff was great, very friendly. The shower was better than any I've experienced in a hotel! The beds were very comfy (of course!) and the pool was wonderful! However, the furniture was cheap looking, chipped. The chairs were faded & very worn & a little torn. The room wasn't cleaned very well on our second day -- bugs were on the bathroom counter, some brown stains above the bed on the wall and garbage left -- just didn't seem like the cleaning staff put any effort into actually cleaning the room! However, because of the wonderful staff, the family friendliness and the comfy beds & awesome shower -- we will be back!”
