• My room had roaches in the bathroom. The adult jacuzzi when I used it has dead fly in it.

“Being rated a four (4) star hotel, it need a littlebit of up keep. Not satisfied with my room due toroaches in the bathroom mainly in the shower curtainand the tub. The hair dryer was broken and the coffee provided has not been changed awhile and thecups and glasses was dusty. The adult jacuzzi whenI used it had lots of dead fly in it.”

“The resort is quaint. Facility is a little worn. Pool remodeled and comfortable. Meals were delicious but a little small. The resort fee is too much money. (24.50 per night with tax).”

• The staff was very friendly.
• The adult pool was too crowded with smokers and people drinking, they were very loud.

“They should take better care of the grounds. The grass was all brown. The pool area was too small for the size of the hotel. The room was nice and clean.”

“Very nice place for the price we paid. Didn't appreciate the extra $22 a day incidental fees. Don't know what that was supposed to cover. Still was nice place, pretty clean, convenient to everything around.”

• Restaurant was nice.
• Somewhat disappointed with resort which Mira Monte did not quite meet.

“Room was clean, furnishing & overall hotel environment felt rather old, rundown, needing interior upgrades. Disappointed with adult pool (size, overall cleanliness, appearance) compared to the much larger family pool.”

• I liked the location and the atmosphere.

“Older building with fresh new upgrades. It is pleasantly well decorated. The rooms have no insulation in the walls, which make it extremely noisy to outside sounds.”

• Very pretty.
• Pools were a little lacking for the size of the hotel, poor was not cleaned early enough for the early hot temperatures.

• Friendly, very nice.
• Pool wasn't clean the first 2 days we stayed.

“Very nice and welcoming resort, good place to forget about everything. The food was the best at the restaurant. I will recommend this hotel and will go back again.”

• The grounds were beautiful, and the view from the sitting area outside the restaurant absolutely breath-taking.
• The walls are very thin; therefore, we were able to hear everything from the room next to us.

“I was extremely pleased with this resort, especially for the price. It was very comfortable, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, and felt as if we were in a 5 star hotel because the grounds are so beautiful. We will definitely stay again and recommend to our friends.”

• Quiet! dining experience was excellent waiter made the experience even more pleasurable.
• Dog was brought into the room next to ours, whined when owner left it unattended. Shower was head moldy and smelled of mildew.

“My experience was very positive. Minor problems were resolved quickly by the manager (whinning dog, the owner did not notify the hotel of the dog when they checked in, it was not supposed to be there). Our room was located in a very quiet part of the grounds and it was just what my wife and I needed. Staff was very friendly to us. We plan to go back as soon as possible.”

• Cleanliness, small buildings rather than sprawling property, well maintained, superb!
• Tried to think of something - just couldn't.

“We've stayed at many properties in Palm Springs over the last 15 years, some very upscale resorts, some moderate - without a doubt, this was a jewel. The rooms are more than spacious, the staff courteous and knowledgeable. The pool areas clean and uncluttered. Quaint, charming, cozy and intimate. Can't wait to return, will never stay anywhere else in the Palm Springs area.”

• The gardens and the adult pool were relaxing and beautiful.
• The location of the room provided.

“The hotel was much nicer than I expected, I had read reviews that it was rundown and in need of an upgrade. I found that not to be true, the hotel was immaculate and the grounds were spotless. My only complaint was that our room overlooked the parking lot.”

• The grounds are beautiful and the hotel management staff is excellent to work with.
• The hotel room was dirty, slow customer service and horrible housekeeping issues.

“I would not be able to stay there myself again or recommend the Mira Monte Resort at this time to friends. We had to change hotel rooms due to cleanliness issues. Both hotel rooms had multiple carpet stains, stains on the sheets and comforter, cobwebs on the ceiling, dirty glasses and not enough glasses in the room. The front desk personnel were extremely slow and seemed unwilling to help with housekeeping issues. It took over four hours to receive wine glasses. The hotel assistant managers were wonderful and tried to make our experience the best it could on the last evening of our stay. The concierge was fantastic! She was knowledgeable about the city and made wonderful entertainment and dining reservations for us.”

• Not a resort, it was just like a hotel. Overpriced.

“Overpriced, I stayed at the Westin mission hills in may and paid the same price as Miramonte. Westin was so much nicer, it was truly a resort.”
