“Very nice rooms and the pool is great for kids and families. The overall experience was very fun and the hotel room and beds were very nice and comfortable. I would definitely come back.”

• The have a wonderful pool, lazy river and mini water park.
• The pool side facilities were not kept clean.

• I really liked the overall look and feel of the hotel. It was also very convenient to shopping center across the street.
• The hotel rooms themselves could use a remodel. I was dissatisfied with spa services, a/c was not working upstairs and there was no warning.

“I think if the a/c was fixed and after the pool and room remodel we'd give this hotel a second chance. The overall look and feel of the hotel was nice but I think we just picked the wrong time to go. It's definitely not "Resort" quality but I would say it's a nice facility.”

• Nice selection of dinning close by.
• Did not get requested room.

“I had requested a room with two double beds. When I checked in nothing was said but when I got to my room it had a king bed. I called the front desk and they said that there were no doubles left but if someone canceled their reservations and one became available they would let me know. I just wondered how they determined who got the doubles since I had already checked in and they were saving doubles for people who hadn't even checked in yet. They did not apologize for this error at all. In all my years of travel I have never had this happen. I was traveling with a friend and we had to share a bed. ”

• Nice facility, landscaping and location.
• The pool area could be updated.

“The facility as a whole is very nice and located so closely to the River, a shopping and restaurant area, makes it especially desirable. The beds were very comfortable and the overall ambiance and landscaping of the hotel were nice. If you are looking for "affordable luxury" this is a good choice.”

• Quiet, tranquil, serene, peaceful, close to restaurants.
• I wish it was a little less expensive.

“I actually was so impressed by the entire staff that I have written a letter to Marriott. I have traveled many places and to many fine hotels and I must admit that they were wonderful there. I found the girls in the Spa and Salon to be so delightful. We went for a weekend escape from our busy lives and we truly were relaxed. It was a great weekend.”

• The room was very clean, comfortable and well furnished.
• The food is terrible. We ate dinner and lunch and I would not recommend anyone eating there.

• The layout of the resort was beautiful and a preferable choice over a conventional hotel or motel.
• No food or drinks, let alone service or a bar, allowed at the pool.

“My daughter and I enjoyed a very pleasant stay,and we loved the grounds and spacious layout of the room clusters. We had a difficult start, as I had confirmed our room location by phone earlier in the day before check-in, and we did not realize until after we had unpacked and went in search of the pool that we had been placed on opposite side of the complex from where we had requested. While we did get changed, it was quite a hassle and the staff did not apologize or go out of their way even though it was their error.Pool area very pleasant, but no extras.”

• The property was very spread out and you could enjoy your privacy
• The pool was a disappointment

“The hotel and its surroundings were very serene. It was pleasant, but there were not many activities to be done. The pool water was so warm it was unrefreshing. However, I did get plenty of relaxation”

• beautiful central arrangement around golf course, water hazard.
• Disparity between room locations - some near pool and golf course/pond and lobby, some pretty far away.

“Two tiered experiences available. One option is upscale, room in beautiful setting, use of day spa-- $30 minimum for upscale amenities (sauna, steam, private pool, bigger gym), optional treatments $70-$250.Bare-bones option, use of 2 public pools, one dominated by families with kids.”

• The room was very musty and the water jets for the children did not work.

“We stay in Palm Springs frequently and the location of the Las Palmas is ideal. Unfortunately, it was a perfect as remembered. Room was somewhat musty and the water jets for the small children at the pool, did not work. Staff was friendly.”

• Good location,close to shopping and restaurants
• Bathroom not clean, old hotel, needs renovation, don't like "honor bar "and stuffed refrig

“Older resort, rooms need renovation and bathrooms; air vent had large amount of dust collected on it. Air conditioner was very noisy. View was nice and the room was well insulated from outside noise. Good location-close to shopping and good restaurants. I wouldn't classify this with other "4-star resorts"”
