  • Management was extremely helpful and courteous, friendly.
  • Muffins, eggs bendedict English muffin hard as a rock, potatoes too spicy, food in warmer was only barely warm.

“I would recommend this hotel, but possibly not eat from the buffet as the food was barely warm, biscuits and gravy were just mediocre, muffins were hard, eggs benedict muffin, hard as a rock. Other than that, the staff were wonderful in every way. Room was clean and we had a great view.
Room Service sandwich Turkey, Bacon and Avocoda was not very good, fries were only slightly warm. Bacon was not cooked real good.”

  • Convenient location to the airport.

“Older style facility that could use some upgrades but it was fine for one night, golf course was very accomodating.”

  • Located near Palm Springs and many restaurants.
  • Fitness center (gym) was not easily found. Located in 2 rooms but signs did not lead you there.

“Staff was friendly and helpful, outdoor pool and bar were relaxing and felt like a cruise ship with good music, rooms were well kept and very clean with everything you needed.”

  • Clean pool, good and friendly service, small refrigerator in room.
  • Real windy in the afternoon and evening.

“A nice out of the way hotel where you can unwind. All the staff was very accommodating.”

  • Dingy towels, small beds, no fans in bath.

“This hotel was a big disapointment. we traveled for my wifes birthday. The towels were dingy, the beds were fulls size not queen. The restaraunt was never open.”

  • I liked the balcony of my room. I liked the valet parking and lots of self-parking.
  • I did not like the mandatory $15 per day hotel fee.

“The hotel is not in Palm Springs. It is in the North part of Cathedral City, miles and miles from central Palm Springs.”

  • Big bathroom, nice pool.
  • Decor & facilities are old. Fitness center is just a hotel room with treadmills.

“First of all, this hotel is in Cathedral City, not Palm Springs. Although it is in the shaded area on the map, for people who are not familiar with the region. Aside from the rooms being somewhat old here is a list of things I did not like about our room: the bathtub did not drain, there were cigarette burns in the comforter, the patio door was stuck, the carpet was dirty. Also their fitness center was hard to find and is just a standard hotel room hidden down a 1st floor corridor with a couple machines crammed inside it. It was very strange. Not a wide or exciting selection of room service items. Breakfast options included eggs your way, bread, coffee and juice. It is probably misleading to call this place a resort. I would liken it to a nice motel. Not great, not horrible, just sufficient if you are not expecting a resort.”

  • Very friendly valet service.
  • Useless front desk help 25% of time, ok 75%.

“The pool was great, it is situated a bit out of PS but not a problem if you have a car, room quality is maybe 2.5 stars (poor quality linens, stained carpeting, fair bathrooms).”

  • I loved this hotel for it wonderful staff and quiet relaxing experience.

“This was my first weekend getaway with my new boyfriend. We had the most relaxing weekend. The hotel staff was very awesome they upgraded us to a room that walked right out to the pool. It was very quiet here the food was excellent in the restaurant and my overall experience was great. I am for sure going back this summer.”

  • Beautiful grounds surrounded by beautiful golf course & lakes.
  • Mist over bar near pool smelled like sewer.

“Nice, clean room, friendly staff who responded immediately to repair beeping fire alarm, and great hotel. We would definitely stay here again!”

  • Hotel was clean.
  • Staff were very unfriendly, except for the door staff, parking staff. Many things needed fixing in room, when reported they did not respond.

“Hotel was clean and upscale. Staff were extremely unfriendly towards us. Extra charges $15 daily for resort fees were mandatory and we received nothing in return for this extra charge. We did not use dining facilities in fear that the dining staff might be as unfriendly as the desk staff. We tried to enquire several times about court fees for tennis and received no response.”

  • Nothing.
  • Dirty and outdated. A one star hotel definitely not a resort or 3 star by any standard.

“Carpet stains everywhere. Overall room appearance shabby and outdated.”

  • It was close to Downtown Palm Springs.
  • Outdated. The towels at the pool were like hand towels.

“The hotel needs a good renovation.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[5] • Location:[3]

  • Beautiful golf course and landscape.
  • Rooms were not as luxurious as described, a little dumpy.

“The beds were small, uncomfortable, and they were even sloping downward. The fixtures and furnishing looked old, and it just didn't live up to expectations based on the website. Also the location was very windy which made it impossible to enjoy the pool. It was not windy at all in Palm Springs which is where we ended up staying.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[5] • Location:[9]

  • Big rooms, great views, balconies.
  • They charge a $15 fee to everyone for local calling and a paper. That was not told to us by the hotel until checkout.

“The first room we got was pretty bad. It had a stained carpet and looked out over the roof so that was all you could see, and the wallpaper was peeling here and there. We asked for another room, and when one was ready, we were moved to a better room that had a great view, and was cleaner. I had read that the towels are old and threadbare. And even though I usually am happy with the hotel and don't agree with bad reviews that complaint was right on the mark! The towels and wash cloths were dingy and threadbare! I couldn't believe it! But they were clean, so I didn't let that ruin the stay. It's just odd for a 3 star hotel not to have decent towels!! It is a little dated, but I guess it depends on the room you get. The first one was pretty bad, the second one was pretty good.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[6] • Location:[6]

  • Valet parking for $15.00.
  • Dirty carpets, worn furniture, and the bed did not appear to have clean sheets the first night.

“Not a good location for the desert hotel the wind seems to blow harder here than anyplace else in the area. Pool was nice but not heated the first 3 days of our stay, did not matter as the sand and wind were bad. I left my sunglasses in the dining room, but no one at the front desk seemed to be able to help find them. Still no glasses.”
