• Good location, great view to the lake, room close to parking space, front desk staff very friendly.
• Nothing bad.

“If you're going skiing to Big Bear, this hotel is about 1 mile from Snow Summit Mountain. The back of the hotel faces Big Bear Lake, so our room had a great view and the room was just a few steps away from the parking lot on the side. which was very convenient for unloading and loading the car. You don't need to pass through the front desk every time you go to your room, but when we did, on arrival and departure, the staff there was very friendly and helpful. No luxury, but it was clean, had comfortable beds, and the heating system works fine. I would recommend it.”

• The location right on the lake and very close to downtown is great!
• The rooms are outdated and dirty.

“Beautiful from the outside, grounds are very pretty, view beautiful, very family friendly with pool, beach, volleyball court, bib etc. Inside of the rooms were old, outdated and dirty.”

• Log cabin feel in a large unit. Nice lake view.
• Bathroom floor was cold. Carpet was wet in parts.

“Nice looking hotel. has a Log cabin feel. Its right on the lake and has a large outside area in front of the lake to play in. Close to mountain resorts.”

• Do not disturb sign wasn't followed by maid.

“Great location, easy to find. The proximity to the lake is great for winter or summer. The Jacuzzi was a nice temperature to enter while it was 28 outside. Clean and comfortable rooms for a nice price.”

• Free upgrade to meet handicap requirements, extremely helpful staff.
• Microwave oven did not work, but as room was a free upgrade, no problem.

“All of the rooms have a serene panoramic view of Big Bear Lake and the far wooded North Shore area and mountain crests and offer an especially splendid vista when viewed at sunset. The hotel staff are accommodating mountain folks and the close proximity of varied restaurant fare and shopping venue make for a highly relaxing and enjoyable stay. There is also a delightful fudge store a block away for the chocoholics that also carry more varieties of candy apples.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The grounds were beautiful with rustic swings set artfully around the beach and lovely flowers on a rolling hill. The staff provided great recommendations for restaurants. I'd go back in a minute!”

• It was close to the village
• Musty Old Rooms and no A/C, beds were horrible

“The Hotel was conveniently located to the Village of Big Bear and had a great view of the lake. The rooms were small, musty and old. I would not stay at this Hotel again, I have had better experiences at other Hotels in the Big Bear area.”
