• It was convenient to get to and easy to find.
• The small room with only one bed. The gap under the door.

“The bed was comfortable. The pillows were comfortable. It is convenient to get to and it is visible from the freeway.”

• The staff was excellent.
• Too noise with; people running around after hours.

“Everything was excellent with the exception that the staff didn't control the people that were making too much noise after hours. Also on one of my blankets there were cigarette burns and the Jacuzzi smell like feet.”

“I will do everything in my power to spread the word to as many people as possible to never use Howard Johnson after this. I had to go spend more money to get hotel rooms instead of being able to stay in the rooms I had previously paid for. I was unhappy and will never stay at Howard Johnson with their customer service. The staff gave me a king bed room with myself and three teenage boys. Avoid this hotel at all costs!”

• The front desk called me to make sure I got into my room ok.
• I was in a smoking room at the end of the hall and did not feel safe.

“The location of Hojo in post falls is actually on the outskirts of the town and close to a truck stop where there was a lot of noise, especially at night. I was placed in a smoking room (I do not smoke) and was not asked a preference. There were only about 20 cable channels working. The room was small.”

“Hotel was okay but there are better hotels in the area for the same price. The continental breakfast was good and the eating area was sufficient. The hotel does have a 24 hour pool and had a very nice staff.”

• Somebody smoked in the room.

“The hotel was right next to the freeway. It was located across a Flying J gas station which was not very attractive. The rooms were clean, but even though it was a non smoking room it smelled like cigarette smoke. The breakfast was really good, and the staff was very friendly. I also liked that they had a computer in the lobby.”

“For a budget hotel, the bed was surprising comfortable. Noise from truck stop across the street was annoying. Breakfast was decent, nothing special.”

• Nice continental breakfast/clean.
• Bathroom drain did not work too well; maids threw away a bag of my clothes.

“Beware, hotel lady tried giving me a king size bed for my brother and I and tried charging me an extra $10 per day to switch to a 2 bed room. Did nothing and did not really care about shower not draining and the fact the cleaning ladies threw away a bag of my clothes. Honest mistake, but they did not really seem to care about my loss. Did not say they were sorry or anything other than "well, nothing we can do about it".”

• Filled with youth sports team.

“Lovely breakfast in a comfortable atmosphere. Rooms are spacious, very clean, and nicely decorated.”

• The continental breakfast was good.
• The mattresses need to be replaced, they were very uncomfortable. The pool was terrible; the paint was coming off and turning our skin blue.

“This was very disappointing because the price wasn't that great. There are 1 star motels that are basic, but they are also cheaper and even those don't have bad beds and peeling paint pools. Also, did not know this was located right next to a truck stop.”

• Rude staff, broken lock and smoke alarm, stinky room, unclean, ugly location.

“I have ever stayed at in the last few years. The "non-smoking room" smelled of smoke, the smoke alarm had been ripped out of the ceiling and was hanging by wires (prob so someone could smoke), the safety lock was broken, the vending machines were even in questionable condition. The location of the hotel is basically in the deserted part of an industrial park across from a truck stop. ”

“The hotel is very good, new, clean, friendly, spacious. The pool is being
