we were placed in the rear of the hotel...unsafe? initially we were given a smoking room??? yuck

“if we pay $100 for a room in Barstow CA, we have the expectation to be treated like a "paying" customer...not like a "Priceline" throwaway customer”

Friendly hotel staff, plenty of parking & convenient location.
Room was way overpriced. Mattress too hard, small bathroom, dirty bathroom walls, long wait for included breakfast.

“This would be a great hotel for a leisure traveler or family with kids. Although small, the pool and surrounding courtyard appeared to be well maintained. The mattress was very hard, the room was small, especially the bathroom, and at least one wall in the bathroom appeared to have been missed in the "remodel." Lighting in the room was extremely poor. The restaurant staff was friendly and efficient however they need to hire more staff especially during the breakfast hours. The food served was basic and turned out to be of average taste and quantity. We will not return to this hotel as we've had better stays / experiences in much cheaper hotels.”
