• Animals were allowed, there was an elevator and the pool was nice.
• The carpet could be cleaner.

“We liked it, it was comfy enough for the 2 days stay. The pool was nice, clean and the pool area was very inviting. The room was not the best ever but it was not the worst. The lobby was nice, the desk clerks were nice, the breakfast was very nice and the best was actually somewhat not that bad. I was actually able to sleep. The train did not bother us because we were on the front of the hotel. We would stay there again, but then I know what some of the others are like in Barstow, not that great!”

• Hotel was fairly nice room wise.
• Problems with wireless Internet access, pool water was not kept clean.

“Overall the hotel was OK for our needs. Only certain rooms had hard wired Internet access which I so prefer over wireless. Was not able to access Internet for first several days. I had to leave a day early and so it cost me about 80 - 90 dollars for a room which I did not use. Oh, and one of the cars, near ours, in the parking lot was broken into, not good.”

• Next door to a very good local restaurant.
• Very dirty and poor room condition unsafe location.

“Outside looks nice, but the room was deplorable. Very dirty with broken lamp shade and wobbly headboard (the prior guest stuffed tissue paper - didn't help). We were approached by a person bumming cigarettes right outside the main entrance. Local children are apparently allowed to use the swimming pool. Should have tried Best Western.”

• I loved this hotel ! I would stay there again!
• The parking lot could use more lights. I had two Marines bully me out of a parking space ! And the pool need to be cleaned.

“Great Hotel ! Very nice staff !!! One of the best hotels in Barstow !!! I know this because we have family there and so we travel there a few times a year! This one was the best that we have every stayed at in Barstow!”

• Just off the highway
• Not clean, old, smelly, dirty, very bad service, and awfull customer service

It was very late. I was so tired. I had just driven from Denver, CO. to Barstow non-stop. I went into the Ramada inn because it was the first Hotel exiting the freeway, there was vacancy, but not a really helpful clerk, non the less we booked 2 ro”
