“We had a clean and comfortable room. The area was quiet and easily accessible from the freeway. The day staff was very nice. Just don't check in late at night.”

“The Goodnight Inn Chula Vista was a great hotel for the price we paid. The staff was friendly and accommodating; the rooms were recently remodeled and clean when we arrived. There were many dining options nearby and it was close to the many places in San Diego we were visiting. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.”

“Overall, we were happy with the hotel. The pool was an enjoyable surprise for us. We plan to stay at this hotel again when we go to San Diego.”

“This hotel was okay for the price we paid, but I was not impressed in the least bit. I requested new pillows and blankets because ours were stained (not from us, from previous guests I assume), and they would not bring them up to us. We had to walk down to the lobby to get them. They were not friendly, and I did not really feel safe with the graffiti all over the dumpster in front of the hotel.”

“The hotel price was great but had no iron and no micro. The small bar fridge was a little dirty but we definitely got a good value for our money. I was one of 30 000 who ran in the marathon. I asked if I could get a late checkout so I could return to my room and take a shower after the race. The management refused and said I would have to pay an extra day, period. I was not very impressed.”

“We arrived around midnight. The main lobby was under renovation. The front desk agent was nice but a little to frank at times. The parking lot left a lot to be desired due to the poor lighting, cracked asphalt and overflowing dumpster. Once we entered the room we were quiet surprised to find such a clean looking room. No dust in sight, the bathrooms were sparkling clean and there were fresh towels available. A bit of traffic noise at night due to it's proximity to the I-5 freeway but if your like me you find comfort in the sounds of the city. Overall we had a pleasant experience.”

“For the money you pay its ok. If you are going with kids, keep some eatables handy for the kids for morning. There is nothing other than coffee! Place is close to most of the attractions at san Diego.”

“The goodnight inn is undergoing extensive renovation. Renovation of the rooms is complete, with new carpet, new counters, new plumbing fixtures, new beds, and new furniture. The rooms are surprisingly large and nice. As of fib. 2007, work on registration building and some other public areas is not complete. There are two restaurants immediately adjacent to the hotel. An Anthony¿s -- a very good san Diego seafood chain -- is to the north, and a el triton is to the so
