• Rooms were not cleaned until late afternoon.

“It would have been fine if this hotel was rated a one star or lower. Area around hotel was under construction, which was not stated in emails or when I phoned and spoke to front desk. Construction made it harder to get around immediate area of hotel. Rooms were not cleaned until late afternoon and bathroom toilet kept running 24/7. Also would not flush properly. TV was not easy to work, and closed captioning would appear without warning and there was no way to remove it. Room was facing highway, which made for noisy environment.”

• There is no WiFi.

“The hotel is fine and worth the $, no more. It is clean and convenient but definitely more for the person passing by, needing a clean bed. There is no WiFi, which makes it not as convenient for business and it's not a romantic place. It's very straightforward.”

• Every nice people working there.
• They didn't tell us about the freeway being jack hammered from 9 pm to 7 am.

“The freeway side is nice can't hear it from the room at all. Until 9 pm when they started jack hammering.
Other then moving rooms 2 times the stay wasn't bad.”

• The room was very clean and the night manager was great. For this being a last minute trip I would stay here again.
• Nothing.

“The hotel was central located easy freeway access. Felt secure and comfortable will be stay here again when the area visiting family.”

• Convenient.
• Told that no room was available. Had to argue to get room I had reserved and confirmed.

“Helene, the evening clerk told me there was no room available in spite of my reservation and a call to confirm. She offered us a room 20 miles away, then offered us a smoking room, then finally gave us the room we had reserved. I had to seem angry to get her to do this. I don't understand why I had to go through this.”

“The staff was wonderful even called me to ask if the room was okay. Quiet nice curtains blocked out the light so I could sleep in.”

• Too crowded at the continental breakfast.

“Overall, a very nice experience. Standard 2 star fare for rooms, but no complaints. Would stay there again.”

• There were waffles at breakfast.

“The hotel put an ozone machine in our room before we arrived, but the room still smelled like an old trailer. Our sleeping arrangements were very uncomfortable.”

• Separation of the sink and toilet.
• Requested non-smoking. Told it was not a problem two weeks before but got a smoking room. Very bad because my kids have asthma.

• Close to where I had to be.
• The bed was terribly lumpy and hard to sleep on.

• Staff was very helpful, the second room was very clean.
• It was not a value, same rate as any caller.

“It was noisy. The first room was not clean, wall in bathroom was dirty and room had a smell. Had to request to be moved the next day. I got the worst room in the whole facility for noise and not equipped as well as the second one, I requested to be moved. ”

• The morning breakfast began @ 6am and had carried out containers or packaged foods that could be taken to my room.
• The free internet service was not available in my room and after calling the front desk, it appeared to be a known problem. I was very disappointed.

“The directions to get to the hotel were a little confusing. While it is just off the freeway exit, it is located behind the mobiles station¿s spent more than 15 minutes trying to get to this location. The front desk gave us excellent directions to restaurant and a map to downtown san Diego.”
