• It met our expectations and more.
• The hotel seemed to be in a crowded location with a questionable gas station next door.

• The bed was comfortable.
• The room was poorly maintained.

“The parking is adequate. The lobby is attractive. My room key wasn't programmed correctly so I had to return to registration to have it re-keyed. The light in the entryway was out. There was masking tape around the hook on the back of the bathroom door like they had painted recently, but didn't take time to remove it. The bed was comfortable, but I heard police activity on the freeway in the middle of the night that didn't help my sleep any. The next morning as I brushed my teeth, I realized that I was standing in a puddle of water. The sink had a major leak. I definitely won't stay there again.”

• Bed, shower, toiletries were top notch. Fridge and microwave are very convenient.
• Not many dining options in area.

“The personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was perfect, but we did not see much else on our short stay. Bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was refreshly strong, and the aromatherapy soaps were much appreciated. Really just the perfect spot for stopping to or from San Diego or the Escondido area.”

• Room was clean.
• Breakfast is not free.

“The hotel was okay. I would not consider it a 3 star because the rooms are quite small, the pool area is not real nice, and if you want to have breakfast you have to pay quite a bit, whereas in many 2 star hotels they at least have a free continental breakfast. Also, the location is right on the freeway, and you do have to drive at least 5 miles to get to anything other than a fast-food place.”

• Air conditioner needed some repair, made noise.

“Hotel was a fine stay. We arrived late, slept in, and then left promptly. Was an easy drive from UCSD and SDSU.”

• Friendly staff.
• No bell hops at the time of check out.

“There are some issues though that needs to have addressed like the heavy drapes. It needs to be changed so it can close all the way. Also, as we were checking out, there was no bell service available. I had to go up and down and load our bags in the van.”

• Pleasant staff.
• Dining/food choices very poor; no extras in room; no lights in elevator and leaks in hotel.

“Overpriced sparse room accommodations. Dining choices had limited hours and food selections.”

• Great location, nice staff.
• Remodeling, other guest.

“Great location, right next to I-15. A little remodeling going on in the lobby, but not that intrusive. Very nice staff to check us in. They even put in my Priority Club number. Room was good size with view of the Freeway and pool. Didn't hear noise from either. Didn't try the restaurant, we had Chinese already. Also, didn't have breakfast there. We ate at Keith's. Wife would have liked a make-up mirror, and our room didn't have the fogless shaving mirror. We had some small issues with other guest, leaving empty beer bottles, wet towels and trash in the elevator lobby. No problem with parking and checkout was easy.”

“The hotel was under construction. The pool was supposed to close at ten and the staff did not enforce the rules until 11. My room was right in front of the pool and I could hear all the various conversations.”

• Was far away from everything/pool was closed.

“We were very disappointed that the pool was under repair. They had the outside patio and pool totally closed off. We were looking forward to spending time by the pool.”

• This hotel provided free congenital breakfast plus happy hour. Very nice!
• The breakfast room was a little to small but they're in the process of renovating so it's understandable.

“It was a pleasant stay over all. The living area and bathroom were clean/net, the bed was comfy and the towels were soft. The lobby was nicely decorated. There was plenty of parking for the hotel visitors and it was well lit.”

“This visit was very noisy, not the hotels fault but the inconsiderate jerks on the next floor out on their balcony right outside our window, first time this has happened, maybe because the weather was nice it bought out the roadways. Will stay again I'm sure.”
