• Customer service was lacking and they tried to tack on more fees for a non-smoking room.

“The room was smoking, I asked if I can change the room for no smoking room, the manager said that if you need different room you need to pay extra, they are not good.”

“Friendly staff, good location just off Interstate but still surprisingly quiet on the weekend. 24 hour diner within walking distance is a real plus!”

“When we arrived front receptionist informed me that we had been given the handicapped room with only one bed and since we have another person we have to pay extra.”

• Plenty of towels, firm beds, clean bathrooms, nice pool area, good internet connections.
• Breakfast was just okay. Waffle machine would be nicer than frozen waffles, and I had to ask for bananas. Staff only put out a few oranges from start.

“Great remodeled rooms, clean, nice decor. Bathtubs are a bit small and can't stand flat on tub because it curves. Breakfast foods could have been fresher. Being familiar with daily breakfasts at hotels, the fresh fruits are going somewhere. but not to hotel guests.”

• Clean and has everything that I need.
• It's far from downtown San Diego.

“This hotel is located near the Mira Mesa Airfield so it is perfect for someone who wants to visit friends/family in that area but can be a bit far for someone who wants to be closer to the city. However, other than that, the hotel offers clean and spacious room and has a pool and Jacuzzi.”

• The staff was so mean and only served for money.

“The front desk person put us in a smoking room. When we requested for a non-smoking room, she said it would be $15 extra charge one day for upgrade. This kind of service never happened before to us.”

• Parking area is too small. This could not be helped land in this area is dear.

“Clean and friendly people. Rooms were very clean; bath linens were large and fluffy. Bed pillows were very comfortable and numerous. All in all a nice clean place to spend the night.”

• Not in the safest part of town for solo travelers.

“Someone tried to break into my room at 4:00 am, prompting me to vacate the hotel two days early. The lock on my room didn't work, nor did the light switches.”

• Big rooms, nice pool.
• One of our rooms was charged for non-smoking ($15 extra per night).

“Overall good experience except for the sudden charge to one of our rooms for a non smoking room. Don't know why, the place was not full and I wasn't charged for my own non smoking room. Kind of felt like being taken advantage of.”

• The sink did not work, but we were offered another room.

“My hotel stay was very enjoyable. The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. The hotel facilities were clean and maintained and the complimentary continental breakfast topped it all off. Overall, a good quality hotel for a very good price!”
