• The bed.
• They told me 619 calls are free then charged my $ 17.50 for calls at checkout.

I hate rooms with a joining door to the room next door.”

• Refrigerator in room.
• Noisy, poor parking, no elevator, uncomfortable beds.

“Refrigerator in room. Pool. Vending machines, but most did not work. Noisy. Poor parking.
The room was clean.”

• Access to my vehicle.
• Too tucked in and not too much immediate access.

“Hotel was clean but not nice. Staff was nice, but didn't go out of their way for you. Facilities were limited and demographic access was too tucked in, looked more like a Business District. Great for over night travelers that are too tired to notice details.”

• Very clean and quiet.
• No free breakfast or microwaves available, hard to find ice machines, no soda/water machines but in pool area.

“Good for business travelers and those not spending much time in the room. Close to all San Diego tourist locations. Friendly front desk staff. Very clean room, but small shower for Queen room. Kings have larger bathrooms. Stayed in this hotel before, and it is worth the price.”

• Any staff encountered (lobby, housekeeping) was very friendly and helpful.
• Neighbors were noisy at a late hour.

“Our purposes were only to have a place to sleep one night (checked in about 9:30 pm, checked out by 9 am). My only complaint would be that the neighboring room was a bit noisy, but quieted down by 11:30.”

• 1 computer for public use in lobby.

“Ok, off the beaten path so less foot/vehicle traffic. We had a suite so cupboards had pots and pans but there is no stove/burner.”

• Kindly and quickly moved me to a new room when I had a complaint about my original room.
• I left my pants behind and 3 days later realized it so I called in. They had them but didn't bother to call me to return them when they found them.

“The rooms are not well maintained (rust in bathtub and the door lock mechanism was unscrewed and had to be slammed to shut). 4 days later, my friend in the next room said it had not been fixed and kept waking him, even though I complained about it 4 days earlier. I left my pants in my room and was not called when they found them even though they clearly have my contact information to do the right thing. unacceptable.”

• We were able to park right next to our room.
• Our room smelled like paint when we first checked in.

“The hotel is not as far as it appears from San Diego activities. It was only a few minutes from Sea World, which is why we were in the area.”

• Had a pool and a Jacuzzi.
• Pool was dirty.

“Pool was covered in plant droppings. Ironing board in room was broken and never replaced. Outlet in bathroom didn't work, neither did hair dryer. Toilet got backed up and continued to leak for entire stay. No remote for TV. Unsatisfactory hotel service to fix problems. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“On the pool side, it was quiet but for the airport being close, pool was clean but much chlorine, staff was friendly and left us to our privacy. Decent location to SD spots.”

• Rooms not clean. No towels. Light near bed didn't work.

“Large older hotel. Ramada chains not the best. Room not clean etc. But price was o.k. Tried you for the first time. Know area and some hotels. This was not area we tried for but further out.”

• Need a good renovation, everything is old except the bed.

• The housekeeping staff took great pride in their work and it showed.
• The hotel was a bit more Spartan than I expected.

• Inexpensive and close to all SD attractions.
• No bathtubs in regular rooms and slow response from Maintenance.

“The front desk staff is helpful; however, it seems that there is no communication between shifts so the morning crew is oblivious to complaints left with the night crew. Front Desk did not move us to a new room when we reported that the TV got no reception. They called Maintenance 3 times and someone only showed up once. Finally after the 2nd day of complaining, they confirmed with Maintenance that the TV wasn't fixable and moved us. The hotel was good enough for our purposes - it was clean and not noisy. We have a toddler so it was difficult to give him a bath in the shower stall. The only bathtubs are available in handicapped rooms and the front desk person was hesitant to give us one of the rooms to keep it reserved for a handicapped guest. This hotel is best for business travelers and not for families.”
