“Overall, our stay at the Sheraton was fabulous. As a family with elementary to Jr. High aged children wanting to get away, relax, and have fun, it was an ideal experience! In fact, we could have lounged around the hotel or roamed the Downtown area, and called that a vacation. Much thanks to this Sheraton! Just for a moment, we lived a luxurious lifestyle without the gruel some expenses.”

“Not easy to get to your room, lobby is on 12th floor, with rooms above. Rooms are nice and spacious. Confusing to have to take two elevators in different part of hotel to get out. No visible stairway exits.”

“The hotel was average. The staff at the desk were not professional as she was chewing gum. Staff were not helpful in general as they did not take our limitations into consideration in making recommendations. For example, we wanted a place nearby to eat and they suggested a place 10 blocks away. The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the sitting area a lot. I found the bed uncomfortable as the sheets were of low quality and I woke up with back pains.”

“The suite was very nice and I had a great view. It had free e-mail service, and the lobby and restaurant were tastefully decorated. It was quiet in my room and the housekeeping was good.”

“The room (a suite actually) was unexpectedly larger and nicer than anything I thought I'd be able to get for the low price I paid. It was clean and modern, with two TV's and a good view. Parking was expensive, but not atypical for the location, and the valet was fast and friendly. Great staff, although a bit disorganized (they assigned our room to another guest who almost walked in, and at the end of the stay they accidentally charged for an extra night of parking), but they were apologetic and fixed all problems quickly. Overall a wonderful experience.”

“The suite experience was delightful following the rather cramped quarters on a 10 cruise. Once we found the cross over floor to avoid the steep walk up to the main entrance, exiting and entering the hotel became a lot easier.”

“We found the hotel easily using our google map. After we arrived, we had to pull up and ask where the self parking was as we only had 2 bags for our one night. We were told to go to the 11th floor of the parking garage so, we did (this took about 20 minutes). After driving for about 8 hours, we were a little irritated with this process, but we proceeded to check in and the desk workers were very helpful and answered all of our questions and more. Once we got to the room, we were very pleased. The room was beyond our expectations with a den area, a separate bedroom and bathroom. We ordered room service and it arrived in 25 minutes and was delicious. We also delved in the Starbucks coffee that was complimentary with the room. The bed was very comfortable.”

“This is a very clean and nice hotel, we stayed at the Hyatt Manchester which is supposed to be a 4-star and we didn't like it near as well as the Sheraton. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we had a nice view of the city at night. The location is great for going in any direction. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone I knew going to San Diego.”

“Good views, close to the Gaslight square area. Locked refrigerator, even after breaking seal. Poorly redone bathroom. Weird parking set-up, with parking only on the 11th floor.”
