• Fantastic service from front valet, bellman, and front desk.
• The bathroom did not provide for good privacy, too feng shui? The TV was small and outdated.

“The Omni is located very near the convention center and the Gaslamp district. There are great restaurants, shops, and entertainment options within walking distance. The service was exceptional. I think the bad economy has brought customer service back to the forefront of hospitality.”

• Very friendly staff, hot-tub, well-designed and swimming pool.
• I would like the pool to be heated to a higher temperature.

• Was given a room for a disabled guest when I was told I would have a regular room.

“Nice staff, but they don't know their rooms very well. I was told I would have a room with 2 doubles. My room had a king sized bed and was designed for somebody who was disabled. The pipes in the bathroom made noises all night. It was not what I expected.”

• Paying for parking $32.00 a night.

“The staff was very friendly, constantly wanted to know if they could be of service. The valets were excellent and helpful. Our room had drinks and chocolate covered strawberries in it when we arrived is was our anniversary. Everything was perfect. Parking fees a little shocking. But perfect.”

• Parking fee of $ 30 per day.

“Everything was wonderful rooms, staff, facility, restaurant. Staff was very professional really made us feel welcome and appreciated. Parking was expensive, however, at $ 30 per day and awkward, as one had no direct access to one's vehicle after the valet has parked it. If you want to take something from or put something into your vehicle after the vehicle has been parked one must have the valet bring the vehicle to the arrival area then repark it once you have finished putting something into the vehicle or removing it.”

• Become a member, get free Wi-Fi, morning beverage, newspapers, pressed clothes!
• Trains passing through the night toot loudly! Use provided earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

“Awesome. Friendly staff, very good loyalty program with benefits you can use Wi-Fi, free morning newspapers and beverages, pressed garments, right on Gas lamp Quarter.”

• Great location clean rooms and nice view from the 17th floor.
• Lack of attention from the front desk and staff.

I would like to stay there again
I found it to be better than avarge and with a great location, though theres parking across the street they should have a parking validation for guest so we can get a price break on parking but thats wishfull thinking. Train didnt bother me.”

• Location is perfect, OK rooms if you get one with a view.
• We received a room with NO view. We saw nothing but the side of our won building. With views of the water and downtown we got the room with no View.

• It is a very good hotel except the wall beteen rooms is too thin-can hear next door people talking
• The fees for car parking, no breakfast. The location of the coffee machine in the room.

• I loved the amenities for my children. I will come back because it is family friendly.
• The pool was nice but too small.

• Just 200 feet away from a San Diego Trolley stop.
• Internet access in the business center was overpriced at $6.95 for 15 minutes.

“Excellent location directly adjacent to the Gaslamp District and Petco Park, and just across the train tracks from the convention center. Easy access to public transportation with a trolley stop just 200 feet away from the front door. Attractive rooms and a noon checkout are a plus.”
