“The hotel was nice, but not anything to get excited about. The staff was great at check-in and upgraded us to a better room without any charges. The continental breakfast isn't really much, but it took care of our needs for the most part. Don't use the elevator though unless you have to, the safety certificate is expired and when the elevator moves it sounds like it's going to fall to the ground level.”

“I was very surprised at how nice the hotel was. It looked like they had done some major remodeling recently. In spite of the outside access to each room I did feel safe. This was important since I was traveling by myself as a senior woman.”

“This hotel is conveniently located near many San Diego attractions; very clean property with recent interior room upgrades. Easy access to the property; plenty of safe & free parking. Friendly staff. No surprises. I will stay here again!”

“My three small children and I was staying for a total of three nights I checked out of this hotel after the first night. The carpet was filthy, the room had a musty smell, the dead bolt was broken, the bathroom didn't lock. There wasn't even an ice machine on my floor. I will never stay at this hotel again and will think twice about staying at any La Quinta Inns.”

“The La Quinta Inn was definitely a family friendly mote. As there were many children. We liked the central location to local sights. The free breakfast was pleasant but difficult to get in to. Very crowded. When we reserved this hotel we did not have the option of a King bed and upon arrival were told that there were none available. But when the other part of our group checked in, they were upgraded to a King Suite at no extra charge. This was disappointing. Other than that, our stay was pleasant.”

“Clean, well maintained facility. Easy to find because of large sign we arrived late. Staff very helpful and printed out directions for us to get to a restaurant one evening. Located right next to a freeway but no noise problems.”

“Next to a noisy freeway and car sales lot. Room smelled bad. "Continental breakfast included" was instant coffee in the hotel lobby. Parking was in tight spaces. The bathroom fan housing was unscrewed and hanging out of the wall space. I left my cosmetic bag open the entire 48 hour stay and came home with a tick on my comb! UGH! Noisy neighbors.”

“I wanted a nice quite getaway for my birthday on October 24th. But my stay at this hotel was not good because I could not sleep for 3 nights due to noise. The walls and ceilings are not soundproof. I could hear heavy footsteps and loud talking all night. I was very upset and tired when I left. Worst birthday.”
