“The rooms are very small, and to me it felt like they were built in the 1950's and not updated since. The grounds, however, are very pretty. There are plenty of dining choices, and a Starbucks is on property. A definite plus!”

“The hotel is very nice to stay out and the rooms are very clean and beautiful, like a victoran style room. Parking charges need to be made known, that its not included in your costs for your room.”

“The Town and Country was quite underwhelming. Room decor was dated, we were in an ugly tower not close to the supposedly attractive grounds.”

“I used to live in SD and have been to this hotels spa but I would not stay at the hotel again. It definitely needs room renovations, furnishings and wallpaper are really bad , bathroom tiny, no elevators in our section and we had to drag the luggage upstairs, had to park far from the room and then the keys didn't work. Definitely should by be charging for parking here.”

“The perfect spot for a girls' get away for my daughter and granddaughter. My granddaughter loved the many pools and exploring the grounds. One problem - after 2 calls, the non-functioning toilet still did not work. The manager was sorry and gave us breakfast for the inconvenience.”

“This is an excellent hotel. It is for everyone. Business travelers and romantic getaways. The pool is heated so if it is ever cold, then you can still go swimming. The staff is really friendly.”

“Well, the hotel is sectioned off in a strange way. It was a bit confusing at first even finding where the lobby was. The room had a 'wet' smell to it, and the decor was god awful. The TV was SUPER small. I could not believe parking was $14 a day. Maybe that's just the area, but it came as a huge shock to me. The room appeared very clean though, besides the smell, and so was the bathroom. The beds were fairly comfortable. The grounds were very pretty, and it made for a beautiful evening walk. The room service men rode the cutest bicycles with trays on them. The location of Hotel Circle couldnt really be better, but that's all of Hotel Circle, not just this hotel. Our trip included visits to family in Santee and Poway as well as the beach so it was a nice middle meeting spot. All in all, I thinks its a wash - its a fair hotel for the price. Ugly rooms, loud AC and funny smell, but the people were friendly, grounds were pretty, and you cant beat the location.”

“It really is a nice resort, a little dated in decor and although clean a little rough around the edges. The front desk staff was very friendly and gave us a much needed early check in.”

“Lovely and picturesque, great for family travel, 3 pools. Parking costs extra and if there is a special event, hotel guests don't seem to have priority.”
