• Great Pool, very comfortable beds.
• Hard sell at the front desk for extras, expensive parking.

“The hotel was great for our stay, but it is definitely a convention hotel. Beds are really comfortable, room views are great, pool and Jacuzzis are really nice.”

• Bathroom was basic, not reflective of room or hotel quality.

• The fitness center was great.
• The cafe food was sub-standard. Also, there were no bathrobes.

“It was a nice hotel for a chain. We had an excellent view. Also, the linens were very comfortable. Over-all it was great.”

• A million dollar view of San Diego Bay, Point Loma and North Island.
• $20 per day self parking fee.

• Location.
• Heard EVERYTHING through the wall in the next room.

“Loved the location. Had extremely rude and loud people in the room next to ours one night and had to call security twice. It stopped the music but it was loud until about 5 in the morning!!! Didn't want to ask to change rooms because the kids were actually sleeping through it.”

• I thought the bed could have been more comfortable given the overall luxury of the hotel.

“It was a perfect stay - I wish we could have been there longer. The hotel was beautiful from top to bottom, inside and out. The restaurant at which we ate breakfast was great as was our waiter. Perfect location to downtown and the waterfront. I really couldn't be happier.”

• Great views of the San Diego Harbor. Excellent breakfast buffet.
• Skimpy coffee and soap supplies. They are very strict about nonsmoking rooms and charge a hefty fee if breached.

“Beautiful location, within walking distance of the harbor, numerous attractions and dining. Nicely decorated and clean. Loved the views!”

• The hotel room was spacious and the staff very courteous.
• The TV could've been nicer and lack outlets for a laptop on the desk.

“The hotel is centrally located in San Diego for the traveler. There were several destinations to keep us busy locally and several activities that could be done right in the hotel. We were in walking distance of the Gaslamp district which had plenty of restaurant options.”

• Beautiful view and the style of the Hotel.
• The pool was extremely cold.

“The hotel was really nice. But the only thing that caught my attention was that for a 4 star hotel the pool wasn't even heated. Atmosphere was very nice and staff was professional.”

“The Manchester Grand Hyatt is indeed a grand hotel. It overlooks the water and has a comfortable bar on the 40th floor. Dining was exceptional at both dinner and brunch.”

• The views are incredible. The common areas were beautiful.
• Only 1 smoking floor and not enough rooms on the floor.

“This is a beautiful hotel. The views are great and the rooms are very comfortable. The restaurants aren't quite as good as the hotel would have you believe. I was only there for a short time but I would have extended my stay if I had the time. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.”

• The overall luxury and comfort as well as the attractive views.
• Having to pay for parking when it should have been included in the hotel stay.

“The overall hotel was wonderful. It met our every expectation. We were however very disappointed that we as guests had to pay for our parking spots. We have stayed at other hotels that include parking with the stay.”
