“The rooms are dirty, I saw 3 rooms 2 the windows could not be locked one was next to a smoking room. It is next to a railroad track and near the airport the parking is minimal. I arrived late I had to stay one night. I asked that I be released from the reservation and was denied. The children and I left the next morning. The guy who owns or runs the placed had been drinking and ask where I was from,I said from Roseville and he said that I was foolish thinking that should expect better-that what I was paying did not even buy a good evenings beers. I assured him I spoke and understood perfect English or if he wish he could talk to me in German. He is middle eastern and I felt that he was profiling. Needless to say if I had your business I would not have that place as a client. The place is run down and not worthy of being recommended.”

“Very convenient location, although a little noisy with the airport. Nice lady at the front desk. Room was clean.”

“Reservation and confirmation number was issued for the marina inn & suites, in San Diego. calls to hotel were unanswered and then we were told they had no record of our confirmation number. finally hotel desk gave us a 1.800 number. we called them and was told there was no record of our reservation. they told us there was only one room available in chula vista. the available room was a DIVE! we reserved a room with a queen size bed, we got a tiny room, with a double bed. the place was disgusting. it smelled like urine. this was a classic example of bait and switch. they overbook the nice hotel and then send you to this dive. we told them we were leaving and they wanted us to pay for two nights since our original reservation was for two nights. I want my money back!!!!”

“Our room was in serious need of renovation (even though they advertise on their web site that their rooms are newly remodeled) and had a strong stench of smoke even though it was marked as a no smoking room.
There was also what seemed like blood stains on the curtains, burn marks on the TV screen, black mold almost covering the entire bathroom floor, extremely tight parking, and train crossing nearby.”
