• Clean, comfortable, and efficient.
• There was nothing that I did not like about this hotel.

“This hotel met all my needs and expectations! Room was clean and modern, and bed was comfortable, with plenty of fluffy pillows. Staff was nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here again!”

• Older, could use some renovations.

“Hotel was reasonably well kept, and a good value for the area. Free shuttles to Sea World and the Zoo are a nice feature.”

• The hotel upgraded our room to their business center. Great room with free amenities.

“We recently stayed at the Days Inn Hotel Circle t o attend my son's graduation from MCRD (Marine Recruit Center Depot). The rooms were spacious with very nice furnishings, refrigerator, microwave and upscale pillow top beds. Very nice and exceeded my expectations. Hotel staff was friendly. I also appreciated the computer in the lobby with free Internet access to check email and print our boarding passes. Very convenient location to MCRD, Old Town, Sea World and airport as well.”

• Good location, close to parks.
• Room smelled like mold, big wet spot on floor.

“It was close to all amusement parks. Great location. Good for quick stops, but not for long stays.”

• It was close to Sea World, shopping, and restaurants.
• It did not have a breakfast included.

“This hotel was a fine place to stay. It was mentioned that it was newly remodeled, but it didn't seem like it to us. We wished it had included a continental breakfast. It was nice that it was close to Sea World, downtown San Diego and shopping and dining.”

• Very comfortable with lots of pillows.
• TV remote can trick you into buying movies if you're not careful, Off switch and buy switch designed to trick you.

“Other than buying a movie I didn't watch the overall cleanliness and comfort of the hotel was satisfactory. I would recommend this hotel and just suggest watching TV carefully power on bottom buy on top.”

• I liked the detailed directions to local attractions. This was very helpful for our trip.
• I did not like the mildew odor that remained in our room the entire time.

“This hotel is at a great location. They provided a list of attractions with excellent directions. The only bad thing was an unpleasant mildew odor that remained in our room the entire stay. The front desk staff was excellent and courteous. They did a great job of welcoming us. In comparison to the Hilton, the front desk at Days Inn was tops. They have the best customer service.”

• Price/location/quality tradeoffs were perfect for my needs.
• Really nothing - it suited my needs perfectly.

“I attended a conference on the other side of I-8 from the Days. The location was a perfect 5 minute to walk to the conference center and the hotel was over $50/night cheaper. All I used the room for was overnighting and it was nice, clean, basic accommodations. Staff was all helpful and the basic cafe/restaurant had excellent breakfasts and decent lunch/dinner the one time I ate there. Price/Quality tradeoff was perfect for my needs as a single traveler - not fancy but fairly nice. I had the room closest to I-8 and heard virtually no noise from the road or parking lot. Some construction noise during the day from a project next door, but not bad (unless I had been trying to sleep during the day). Overall, a good value for this type stay.”

• I was surprised at how nice the room was for the price.
• Kids running up and down the hallway, Semi-truck outside was noisy.

“The location just off the freeway was great, and I was surprised at how nice the room was. It was large and had a refrigerator and a microwave! But be careful, if you want a quite place to stay, this isn't it, there are kids and they run up and down the hallway. But for the price, it was a good stay.”

• The room was fairly clean.
• The staff was non-responsive.

“The hotel was convenient, but I was disappointed that right outside the door to my non-smoking room, in a non-smoking wing, there was an ash-tray/trash can combination. I could smell cigarette smoke all night long, and I have asthma. When I made a comment to the hotel staff upon checkout the next day, their reply was, "Well, they can't smoke in the rooms, so we have to put it somewhere." Very unsatisfactory.”

• I stayed at the Sunset Wing which is the best. I am not sure if all the wings are so good.
• Parking a little bit tricky.

“Great hotel, nice staff and very good rooms. Beds, linens and cleanliness top notch. I stayed at the Sunset Wing which looks like a luxurious hotel and I guess that other wings have more standard rooms with doors opening to a long corridor, very typical in an Inn. Restaurant is good but a bit expensive. Anyway, I would recommend the hotel to everybody for business or family vacation.”

“Of the hundreds of hotels I've stayed at (from scary no-star dumps to five-star ultra-luxury) Days Inn has a spacious, clean room, with refrigerator and microwave, a good TV (with a Nintendo system, if you're into that...) The staff is very helpful and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, and will definitely stay again when I return to San Diego.”
