• It was an enjoyable stay and the staff was great and fast.
• Nothing.

“It is a nice hotel, great price and enjoyable. The rooms were clean and neat and I will stay there again.”

• Price.
• Old hotel or motel.

“If you are looking for a one night place to stay and not paying a high price, this place is it. Older hotel or motel so don't expect anything else. If you are looking for a quite place to rest, this is not it because the location is right next to freeway. The staff was vary helpfull and nice.”

• The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
• The hotel was outdated and not a good value for the price.

“The room had an odor that didn't go away even after I sprayed Lysol on everything. The toilet didn't always flush the first time. The walls were thin so you could hear noise and talking constantly. The tile in the bathroom was peeling. The towels were rough and dingy. And the bedspread was old, worn, and had an ink stain on it. Some of the quests were questionable and I had to ask to be moved so I would feel safer.”

• It was easy to get to.
• The price. The small parking lot and steep stairs.

• Great location.
• The service.

“I love the location of the hotel, very close to Old Town and close to the trolley. The only real problem I had was the service, the front desk agent was not very friendly and when I tried calling them from my room they never picked up the phone. When morning came we were one minute late for the breakfast and would not let us in when they say 9 am they mean 9 am. I felt very uncomfortable going back the next morning and even speaking with the staff afterward. I loved San Diego and was happy with my room but the service was not too good.”
