• They upgraded our room for free.
• Too far away from downtown.

“ We liked the room decor and the hotel staff was very helpful. The only thing we disliked was that there was nothing within walking distance of the hotel. ”

• The beds and bed linens were very luxurious.
• Location was poor. The food in the bar was not hot and there was no entertainment.

• The balcony view of the San Diego Bay and city skyline was beautiful!
• Need more than 2 washcloths in a room and the baseboards were dirty.

“We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and found this hotel to be romantic with the room facing the San Diego bay with the beautiful views of the city. Room service was very very expensive.”

as close to airport. Good selection of food at the restaurants. Across from the airport employee parking - at times it was noisy.”

• The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in every way.
• The self-parking was very limited as they reserve the closest spaces for valet (more than they need).

“The entire staff was wonderful from the moment we walked in. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room overlooking the Marina and bay which we thoroughly enjoyed.”

• The staff was great!
• The distance to walk from where we checked in to the Marina hotel was a little long.

“I liked the decor, although a little outdated. Beautiful view! Restaurant had delicious breakfast. Very busy on New years Eve - we did not realize there were parties at this hotel, but they allowed us to stay in the tower that was further away from the noise. Staff was amazing!”

“Stayed here New Year's Eve. People across from our room had a huge party with a DJ playing music all night. Called the front desk and they said sorry its New Year's Eve.”

• Clean, nice rooms and helpful staff.
• Not within walking distance of downtown.

“I purchased two rooms with the same Price Line order and when we arrived we found that the rooms were in separate towers, which are essentially two separate hotels. The staff had no problem moving us into the same tower and even on the same floor. We stayed in the Bay tower, which is clearly the older of the two. Nevertheless, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Each room had a decent sized balcony, perfect for enjoying the beautiful San Diego weather.”

• One night stay was perfect. Great location to downtown.
• Elevator broken. Long wait. Parking fee.

“Parking fee was pricey. $22 to park overnight. One elevator did not work. We waited for about 10 minutes for every time.”

• Nice view of the harbor.
• Room was not clean and extremely noisy.

“I would not stay in this hotel again. The walls provided no sound barrier whatsoever. You could hear people in the halls, rooms next door, and rooms above. You could even hear toilets in the other rooms being flushed. The bathroom was not clean, there was hair everywhere and the carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed.”

• Great location and staff was very helpful. Rooms were comfortable and relaxing.
• Parking is an issue with limited area when there is a function, too costly at $22 a day.

• Very comfy beds, good shower, every room has balcony, very resort feeling, nice pool areas.
• Restaurants very expensive and food so-so, a little too far from downtown/Gaslamp for us ($15 taxi one way).

“Once we got to the hotel we were very pleased with it. Rooms in the Marina tower not super huge but adequate and it was great to have a balcony. The beds are very comfortable and the showers were great. If they try to put you in the Bay View tower nicely ask for the Marina tower, it is the location with all the amenities. You can opt out of maid service for a $5 per day credit at hotel facilities. I was disappointed in the restaurant where we had breakfast, service was a bit slow and the food just so-so. I would stay here again if I was not planning on going many places.”

• Charging $22 for what was previously a free parking lot.

“Adequate 3 star hotel with the
charge $22 a night for outdoor unprotected, monitored parking in an area where the land is not usable for something better. Very limited food service.”

• Room decor.
• Bay Tower is away from some necessary amenities in the Marina Tower.

“The decor and room were beautiful but there was so little activity at the Bay Tower that it was almost uncomfortable. The lack of people made parking easy but the cafe closed very early. Airport noise was pretty bad on the marina side of the tower.”
