• The location and facilities are great.
• I don't like the rooms that are outside of the main building, it feels like being in a motel.

“The Hilton resort on Mission Bay is wonderful! The location is great and there are lots of things to do. You can get to the pool, ride jet skies, bike ride, or relax at the spa. The view is great since it's right on the beach and it's also only about five minutes from sea world. I love it and go there twice a year with my family and I would recommend it to families and couples.”

• Nice location.
• Menu to damn expensive,out of town assesment to golf 45.00 dollars toom much need a deal package.

• The setting is very relaxing and beautiful.
• There was cigarette smoke in the vents.

• The hotel was very nice and the staff was excellent. They were very attentive to our every need and the food was great.
• Nothing - everything was great.

• Landscape is well manicured. Location is impressive.

“I found crust and rust around the bathroom floors and casings. Tile panels are missing under the cabinet. The screen door on the balcony leaves a wide gap. Room is very small. Absolutely not recommended for business. Pay for internet, pay for local phone calls. Even using the lobby computer costs you .49 per minute. Used the stairs instead of the elevator and entered a dark, dreary, smelly area with orange traffic cones stacked by the exit door. I did not feel safe at all. Grounds are impressive when you first arrive but wait. Walk around the beautiful shoreline and catch a whiff of the foul odor.”

• Food at the bar and restaurant was great.
• Paying for internet and star bucks in lobby was bad.

“For business traveler, rate was exceptional, room comfortable and location excellent. Paying for internet access is ridiculous and the Starbucks in the lobby had poor service and bad coffee.”

• Friendly, good food, nice pool area, close to old town.
• Rip off price on snacks, price extra for music, price extra for internet.

“I like the hotel and staff very well. Do not like hotels to leave candy and snacks in room to charge outrages prices for later. Do not like extra charges for things like music channels, and internet connections.”

• Limited food service option and fairly expensive.

• It was so nice to be right on the beach. The pool and hot tub were also really nice.
• I don't like having to pay extra for in room internet and self parking.

“The location of this hotel couldn't have been nicer for us. We were just coming to San Diego for a three day get away and didn't have any plans to do anything but relax. We really enjoyed being able to walk right out of our room and hit the beach for a run. We also spent a lot of time at the pool and hot tub, which was very nice. We ate at the restaurant only once, for the Sunday morning breakfast buffet, which we found to be quite delicious with many choices. Twice we asked the concierge for recommendations for restaurants and were extremely pleased with both. I do feel that hotels of this caliber should not be charging extra for in room internet and self parking. I felt that left just a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth.”

• Beautiful grounds with lots of extras. Classy!
• No problems.

“We were very pleased with the quality of the hotel. We definitely got a great price on a beautiful resort. The resort has a beautiful pool with Jacuzzi, tennis courts, fitness center, and access to sporting equipment at the nearby beach. We would definitely stay at the Hilton again.”

• Location, surroundings.
• Only 1 restaurant, lack of recreation activities at this time of year (non-peak).

“A resort situated on mission bay, very professional and courteous staff, room is clean, carpet is brand new. Good place to stay in San Diego if you want the busy life of the city, then come back to a quiet, relaxing hotel at night.”

• The room had a little patio, large bathroom.
• No where to eat after restaurant closed, 11pm FRI seemed early to me.

“Awesome place, I plan on going back next summer. Will stay longer next time. Staff seemed very nice and helpful.”

• The outside pool area and restaurant area was very relaxing and enjoyable.
• The hotel staff organization was marginal and the rooms were more of a 3 star quality in my opinion.

“One of the evenings at the hotel at 1:00am the hotel security tried to open our door and continually banged on it and then followed it up with a phone call. Apparently the staff had misplaced our location in the hotel and confused our room with another that they were assigning to a new person. It made for a sleepless night. The breakfast was good and the beds and outside pool are was nice. For the price it was acceptable but I would not have paid the Hilton price for this hotel. It was more 3 star and 4.”

• Beautiful surroundings, gardens, pool area. Great restaurant! Very friendly, helpful employees.
• What's not to like?

• The location was very good for what I was there.
• I felt the rooms were a little small.

“The staff was friendly and helpful. I am a senior citizen and they made sure my room was easy to get to. I was there for my grand daughter's wedding and was very thankful the beds were very comfortable.”

• The bay front bike path was great for bikes and roller blades. The swimming pool is large and well kept. A very tranquil and pleasant stay.
• There is not as much variety in available activities as one may expect of a resort. But the facilities are sufficient for a weekend retreat.

• It was a nice one night get away, everything needed was there, a restaurant, pool, etc. right next to the bay.
• Nothing comes to my mind.

• With children, it is nice to have both the beach and the pool immediately accessible.
• Again, the pool was very cold, and many complained about it.

“This hotel is very nice, the staff are unusually amiable and polite. The food was good, if a bit pricey and fancy for children's fare. We enjoyed our stay very much.”
