“Hotel was very nice, clean and beautiful view of the marina. Non smoking rooms, but doesn't matter because you have a balcony to smoke in which is perfect because you don't pay for a smoking room if you do smoke. Staff is very friend and very sweet, highly recommend this hotel. Is a small hotel though nothing huge so if your looking for a luxurious hotel that isn't huge this if your perfect place.”

“Nice views of the marina but too far away from downtown. Expect to pay around $15 cab ride each way.”

“It's in a great location for airport travelers, beautiful location nice pool and views from the room, but if you have space issues don't stay at this hotel! Find another one! It's a really a 2.5 star moderate.”

“For the Hilton I expected more. When we got there we were stuck with a single bed. Now I have 2 young kids 5 and 7. We drove all night and got to the hotel at 1:30am Saturday, they wanted to send us to another hotel so we would have 2 beds then come back in the morning to see if a double room is open. This was silly to say the least. Not only was I not going to travel around 1:30am but I was not going spend time jumping back and forth between hotels. We stayed at the hotel, got a role away bed that was rock solid. I woke up at 6:45am went back to the front desk requesting the room. They did finally move us into a double room at around 10:00am. Then we could start our vacation.”

“Easy check in, but no help with our luggage when we arrived. Assigned a room without a great view, directly over the restaurant AC unit. A strange hum could be heard periodically through the walls. We weren't bothered enough by it to try to be relocated after settling in with my infant daughter and her crib that we had already set up. We couldn't figure out if it was hotel equipment or something from a room from a group of college students staying there for an engineering competition. Other than the view and hum, the rest was very good. Had breakfast in the restaurant that was good.”

“The housekeeping could have been better. Each day they forgot to either clean up something or didn't leave coffee, soap, etc. Location was pretty but far from everything touristy. Overall, probably wouldn't stay again except for business.”

“Asked for a king size bed and they gave us a queen. The door to the outside of the building (I believe) could be heard slamming all night, so could barely sleep. There was a party up to 2 am in the next room and no one came to shut them up. Would have expected better from a Hilton.”

“I wasn't impressed by the superior floor and turn down service and yet only get a mediocre or even sub-par quality for the room. I really hated the bathroom since it's nothing you'd expect of a hotel type. Every time someone takes a shower in the next room's), I could also hear the sound of water pipe rattling. The only nice thing I liked about it is the view and location - since it's not that close to the downtown area, it gives a nice calm scenery. The staffs is also friendly, but I didn't even get any complementary dessert. Don't know if it's something you have to pay extra for, but since the customer in front of me got it, I don't see why I shouldn't.”

“The hotel is very comfortable, clean and quiet. The location is ideal. Right by the airport, near Downtown San Diego, on a strip of land between the harbor and a bay with boats docks. You get a panoramic view of the city skyline from your balcony. Very safe to walk around at night. No noise from the airport. Downside, you need to be prepared to pay $17.00 a night to park and $11.00 per 24 hours of internet usage. I was really irritated with the internet charge being that most cheap motels give you free wireless. It isn't even wireless.”

“The hotel staff would not allow us to move even though the air vent in our room was making noise so loud that it woke us up from a sound sleep. Very difficult to sleep and staff was not accommodating at all. The shuttle service was the only saving grace - the drivers were very polite and helpful.”

“I loved the hotel, I just felt like we had a bad room location. It was very noisy, first floor and near the lobby. The pool was right outside our window. Already have told others!”
