• Waffles for breakfast.
• Tiny room, hard bed.

“The staff were very helpful. The room was recently remodeled, but tiny. The bed was hard. Breakfast was nice. HS internet worked well. Good TV selections. The motel had a mandatory charge for a safe in the room.”

• Clean, nice decor, comfy bed, up to date, good breakfast.
• Room a bit small, and pool was tiny-odd location, not bad though.

• I liked the color schemes.
• The wireless was out for 1 1/2 days.

“This hotel was a good value, and I enjoyed staying there. There were a few problems (e.g., wireless was down, water and towels in the fitness room were not serviced), but it was a good stay overall.”

“Original room got flooded by leak in another room. We were moved to another room which ended up smaller and poorly configured.”

• Hotel was recently renovated and clean.
• Rooms were very small. Pool was miniscule.

“Overall we were pleased with our stay at this motel which just recently completed a year - long renovation. The manager is very set in his ways, so we found it best to just play by his rules. As a result, he was accommodating to our request for a quiet room. I was slightly concerned about security for the car because of the area, but no problems. This is a clean motel about 5 minutes from Sea World.”

• Price.
• No table in room - rooms are small - bathroom is very small.

“The room comes with a microwave and refrigerator, but there was no table in the room to eat at and the staff would not open the breakfast area to allow our children to sit at a table to eat dinner. Also, the hotel parking lot is very narrow and difficult to park in. My next time in San Diego I will stay at a different hotel.”

• It was satisfactory in most ways.
• The remodeling being done and the inconvenience.

“We were welcomed royally by Mitch in the lobby and he was very accommodating. My wife and I were in room 301 on the 3rd floor and we had to walk up and my wife is handicapped so it was an imposition and a struggle for her. That is really the only complaint I have. Lots of remodeling going on in the building. I think we would return to that Days Inn.”

• Conveniently located to Sea World and downtown.
• Construction going on not a very appealing appearance. The parking lot was tiny.

“Good stay if on a budget. About a 5-10 minute drive to Sea World so it was well located for our purposes.”

• The waffles were good. Friendly staff.
• Dirty, cheap, shabby; run down, no parking, noisy, paint fumes, depressing, and low budget.

“I have been traveling for 30 years in America and Europe and this was my absolutely worst travel experience ever. The motel was being remodeled and wreaked of paint fumes. There was an overwhelming sense of doom and depression at the Days Inn Mission Bay. No parking. Dirty carpets and walls. Cracked tile in the elevator. All the toiletries I received were soap and shampoo. No lotion. The Days Inn is terribly ghetto/barrio/trailer park. I didn't feel safe and stayed up most of the night. The service people were nice but they work in a dump.”

“I took my son to sea world for the first time. Only half of the channels of the TV came in clear the other half of them had static and red lines on the screen. The door across said wet paint. Seriously I drove 6 hours from phoenix to there and when I drove up I was disappointed.”

• Nothing.
• Unsafe, dirty, lots of construction was going on, too pricey.

“Terrible hotel. Major construction was going on. Room smelled of fresh paint. Carpet had paint stains all over it. The outer doors to the hotel were open all night long and there were a lot of people seemingly wandering through the property. Took me four trips to the check in desk to get a room key that worked for my room. Way too much money for what the hotel room was.”

• The room was the cleanest part of the whole property.
• The room was small and was the only respite from the rest of the property.

“This is not a scenic location and there are virtually no amenities. There is a very small pool that is hidden by high stucco walls that allow just enough space around the pool to walk. It is understaffed and I had to wait in line for everything. I wish I could have found a Motel6 instead.”

• Tried to put me in a room with a queen and not a king when I paid for a king.

“I think this was a motel not a hotel I do Know the difference. Maybe you should check things out better. This was not a four and a half star hotel it was a two star motel.”

• Not a thing.
• Rooms smelled, hallways smelled, asked for something to be done and only air freshener was sprayed which didn't.

“The pool is only for kids, under the age of 5. You are located around Auto mall, with only Mexican food walk in. You need to drive to everything. Will never go back there ever.”
