• Staff made sure we understood directions to port.

“This hotel was exactly what we needed. We arrived in the early evening, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again the night before a cruise out of San Diego.”

• It was close to events we were attending.
• Too noisy and close to busy intersection; too humid.

“There was far more traffic than we anticipated near this hotel. We asked for an inside room but were told they weren't ready yet. At least at night, it wasn't unbearable. The air conditioner was a bit noisy/old and San Diego was humid so it was necessary to use constantly.”

• The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
• Unless you're parking a bicycle the parking stinks.

“The hotel fulfilled its purpose. I wanted somewhere near the Convention Center that was clean and cheap. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I'd happily stay here again.”

• This room was nice and the bed was big!
• We had to bend down a little because the shower was too low. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and mildew.

“The location was okay. The room fit our family. The room needed to be aired out, it smelt like cigarette smoke. I think the carpets need to be replaced. The shower was too short so we had to bend down. The hotel clerk was very nice. The complimentary breakfast was great. Probably would not stay there again.”
