• Location / patios.
• Older windows with no screens.

• The hotel had a nice tropical atmosphere. The location gave me the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle.
• The parking was somewhat limited and one morning we were awaken at 5 am by boat horns.

“The hotel was very clean and well kept up. Our room had a nice little patio where we could sit and watch the boats and enjoy a drink. The room was quiet and nicely remodeled. The pool area was excellent and included a bar to buy drinks and food. The pool and jacuzzi water temperature was perfect.”

• Great location, friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend it.
• The only thing the hotel could not accommodate was my request for adjoining rooms.

• LOVED the look, location, staff, whole experience.
• That we didn't have a window or view.

“This is a gorgeous facility, friendly staff, seems like a beach resort. We loved the look, the pools and the location to highways and attractions. We look forward to staying here again!”

• Had a wonderful remodeled bathroom.
• Room was dark, small, old and smelled when we entered.

“In a nice vacation destination location, close to yacht harbors and airport. Lobby has a five star feel with outstanding concierge services. Parking somewhat problematic and our room was very cramped and old feeling. Somehow parts of this hotel have been very nicely upgraded, while other parts were left out. We were awoken twice by hotel maids and jumbo jets at the nearby San Diego airport.”

• The airport shuttle took too long.

• Large room and friendly, responsive staff.
• Parking - all convenient parking was valet only, self parking was very inconvenient.

“The room was luxurious and roomy, comfortable bed and nice amenities. I didn't care for the restaurant - too pricey, limited menu, the portions were small and the food was just okay (the children's menu was particularly limited). Extremely helpful staff - responded very quickly to all requests.”

• Noise.

“Ensure before traveling that you get the correct room. Also, slightly noisy, could hear the neighbors talking and TV's through the wall, would have been worse if busy. Overall though it was a good hotel and great location.”

• The restaurant elephant castle.
• No towels when asked, three times maid opened door without knocking.

“No towels, too overpriced for accommodations, no locks on bathroom door, vending machines not working, hotel would not take me to enterprise on Hancock street, told me to take taxi. Will not stay here again!”

• Dirty towel left in my room. Not as clean as it should have been.
