  • Nothing.
  • Beds were terrible, hotel was dirty, and scary.

“I was very disappointed with this hotel. I thought I was staying more a rent by the hour hotel, with my small children. Rooms were dirty, beds felt like we were sleeping on a pile of cardboard, walkways stunk and people outside yelling and swearing. It was a terrible experience.”

  • Had a stove, and microwave for in room cooking.
  • Bed was like sleeping on cardboard.

“Overall very satisfied with stay.”

  • The price cant be beat!
  • The bed was kinda hard but, I still slept.

“The room was small but had all the basics. Bed, door, lock, small TV, working bathroom.
Would have been tight if more than one person or over a few days but, for one person, staying only 12 hours total. It was great!”

  • The other people staying there.

“There were construction workers staying there who woke us up at 4:30 am. The person at the front desk didn't do anything about it, so I got only 3 hours of sleep.”

  • Has refrigerator and microwave.
  • No pool, no bathtub. No ice machine. Dirty socks under the bed. Too expensive.

“The location of this hotel was remote from town. The room has a refrigerator and microwave, which is nice for business travelers, but no bathtub. There is no ice machine on the premises, no pool or jacuzzi and no other common areas and grounds. No hairdryer in the room. Our non-smoking room was smoky. We found dirty socks and candy bar wrappers under the bed. We paid about $100 per night which is way too expensive for this accommodation.”

  • Nothing.
  • Room smelled of cigarettes, and was a non-smoking room.

“This motel was well below my expectations compared to other 2 star motels. Small rooms, no continental breakfast, no maid service, had to go to office, request clean towels, coffee, and no vending machines.”

  • It had all commodities.
  • Nothing.

“I liked the room, just the safety of a fire or emergency and only the elevator for the visitors for the 2nd or 3rd floor worried me.”

  • It was nice to have the small kitchen. The staff was very friendly.
  • It was extremely small. My shower was cold. There was no swimming pool.

“This would be a great hotel for one person, especially those who are starting a new job and don't have a house or apartment yet. The staff was courteous and the room was clean. I was traveling with my husband and two small children and we barely fit in the room, even with my kids sleeping on the floor. My shower was only slightly warm.”

  • asked for
    for a single bed but
gave us a double when they saw the kids with us with no charge.
  • Beds way too hard.

“It was what I was expecting. Clean rooms! Beds could have been softer. I think the floor was softer. When she saw it was me and my two little kids, she gave us a room with two beds instead
of single bed
for no extra charge! That was really nice!”

  • Night staff. Excellent communication and friendly.
  • Halls could be repainted in lobby areas. Gloomy.

“Definitely would stay again. Out of the way if you want to shop in the north end but for the price will travel!”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • Kitchenette, clean room, free soap/shampoo, location.
  • Guest loitering, smoking pot, physical and loud verbal fighting outside of our room which woke us up. We got frightened! I was ready to call 911.

“As expected, Crosland is very nice for the price. We enjoyed the room. Except that there were a few challenges that the staff may have been facing. The outside trash wasn't serviced the entire time we were there. There was constant loitering on the 2nd floor balcony. Another guest complained about pot smoking. After Sunday the place calmed down and that was really nice!”

  • Very clean room, had a kitchen, good price.
  • Very hard small bed, no crib available.

“Exceeded my expectations. Very clean, looked fairly newly updated. The kitchenette was a plus, though we didn't really use it. Nice to have a fridge for our soda, lots of lighting outside, seemed safe. My only complaints are with the bed. Very hard mattress and a small bed. It was my husband, me, and my 1 year old daughter, and they did not have a crib. So sleeping was pretty much out of the question. In the morning when we were checking out they did ask if there was anything they could do better on. I told them the bed was really hard, they said we should have called, they have foam pads they can put on the beds. Would have been nice to know before, next time I will be sure to ask. I will stay here again, but we'll be sure to bring the playpen.”

“We loved staying here and will do so in the future. The price accepted was a surprise and unbeatable. this is the place for us.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[5] • Location:[3]

  • Seemed quiet and comfortable for my very brief stay.
  • Inconvenient location and no one around to answer the phone when I called to get directions.

“With a poor location and grubby hallways, as well as a very cheap room layout this was not my favorite place to stay, but for the price it was perfectly adequate.”

  • Good location, close to stores and restaurants.
  • Room smelled of smoke, internet had a fee to login.

“I would not stay here again. I was in town for an interview and the smell of smoke worried me because it reeked and I didn't want my clothes to smell this way. Asked about internet login but wasn't told there was a fee. Didn't provide shampoo and conditioner and I had forgot mine.”

  • Very clean and neat.
  • The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. They need to put memory foam on them.

“Everything about the hotel was very nice and we enjoyed it all except the very hard bed.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Very economical and friendly staff.
  • The maintenance staff seems to be on their own agenda, pressure washing at 9:00 AM.

“The staff is very friendly and more than willing to help you. The rooms are clean and neat. Also the body soap there is quite delightful, I wish I could find it in a store. Only complaint is that the maintenance staff seems to like doing work early in the morning; between the hours of 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. It has woken me up a couple of times and this is not enjoyable.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[5] • Location:[3]

  • Price was cheap.
  • Lack of amenities and customer service.

“It was an apartment. Perfect for the business person on an extended business stay, not traveling for business. For someone who was on a short vacation visiting family and friends, it was highly depressing and for that reason I spent as little time as possible in it compared to a normal stay at a hotel.”
