“We arrived at this hotel and booked a room. We were given room 27A and assumed that it was a normal room. As we made our way to our room, we realized that all of the other rooms were just simple numbers and had no letter after them. When we unlocked the door to our room, we were horrified. It was an old storage room that had been converted into a hotel room. There was no overhead light, only two small bedside lamps. The TV was about 10" and the TV stand was made out of the bottom of an old chair. The paint was peeling off of the ceilings and we constantly had problems with the toilet. When it clogged, we told the office worker, he told us to come down to the office and he gave us a plunger to plunge it ourselves. Only 1 of the 8 power outlets in our hotel worked and it was one in a dark corner of our room. We were not able to plug in anything in the bathroom due to the outlets not working. After showering, I noticed that there was no hair dryer in the room. When I called the front desk to ask about a hair dryer, I was told by the manager to come down and get one from the office. When I picked it up, he told me that I had to bring it right back because it was his only one. The shower did not drain when we used it. The maid did make our bed, but left no fresh soap or shampoo and did not change our toilet paper roll (we ran out). There was no refrigerator in our room. When I called the office to ask about an ice maker on location, I was told to come to the office and that I would be given a bucket of ice. When I went down there, I was given a tiny bucket of ice and, when I asked for more, was told that each room can only get one bucket of ice per day of stay. When we asked to switch rooms, we were told that all of them were full (which wasn't true there were 3 empty rooms across the hall from us). All in all, this hotel ruined my trip. I was on what was supposed to be a romantic trip with my boyfriend, but the stress of this hotel room ruined our time. Take my word for it ¿ Never stay here! We had stayed in some rotten hotels in our time, but this was the works. The works ! The manager is rude and the staff is not helpful at all.”

“If you're not fussy about the accommodations and just want a clean room with a great location at a great price, this would be it.”

“This hotel was awful. AC didn't work on hot day. Told staff- they said nothing they can do. Mold on base of tub grout. Open spot in counter where refrigerator was. Rust along wall cracks in bathroom. No ice machines- had to go to office to get 1 small tub.”

“The prices were great, staff was friendly, and location was excellent. I plan to return to this hotel in May for my next weekend trip.”

“Even though location and price are ok, do yourself a favor and stay ANYWHERE but this place! We enter the room and there's a super strong smell of what can only be described as soiled diapers. My sense of smell isn't very good, but the stench was really BAD. Barest minimum of towels (very abrasive too), couldn't get more than 1 pillow each, you could see through the sheets they were so threadbare. We found out how paper-thin the walls are around midnight with new guests arriving next door to us, either way, the traffic outside will keep you awake. None of these things (except the dirty diaper smell) are that out of the ordinary though. What made us run from this place to another hotel were the bugs in the bed we found the next morning. They must've been coming from inside the mattress. We woke up after an itchy night and after taking a look at the sheets found a whole host of little tick-like creatures, including in our underwear! When we checked out that morning (even though we'd originally planned to stay 2 more nights) and mentioned it, the guy was non-chalet and said "thanks for letting us know" with no apology or anything whatsoever!!
