• I was near a beach and it was 20 miles away from San Diego.
• The room and bed was small.

“For it price it was good. One thing I didn't like was the room and the bed was small. The room was clean and it right near a beach and not to far from San Diego. You do have a free breakfast there also.”

• All rooms have a great view.
• Food and drinks were overpriced and pool was cold.

“I traveled to this "HIP" hotel with my five year old. Over the weekend it was packed with young people hoping to hook up. I love good looking people but it was too icky. It was less crowded during the week. If you aren't looking for the bar and club scene, this is not the place for you. All the hotels along this street are fantastic and probably cost less.”

• It was cheap.
• Very dingy in general.

“Room was very dingy and run down - TV did not work properly and the plumbing was pretty poor, the hotel either needs a complete renovation or it should be torn down and rebuilt; it has obviously seen better days, much better.”

• Fairly close to the beach and walking distance to local curtsy restaurant district.
• Room was very small; the interstate 5 freeway noise was high and constant. Had to wear ear plugs while sleeping. Price could have been lower.

“This is a basic hotel, close to freeway and noise but also 2 long blocks to beach access. It is also within walking distance of downtown Encinitas along the coast highway. It does not have any place to hang out other than the rooms which are very small. Not a vacation hotel except for a weekend.”

“The room although clean, was too small to even move in. The hotel was not even close to full and they would not give us two beds without a charge even though there were two to us. We declined and were stuffed in the smallest room I have ever seen and had to share a queen bed. I got no sleep.”

“The hotel fit my need for this trip (visiting family in this city). The room was neat and clean every day. We slept well and were not disturbed by outside noise. I liked the refrigerator and microwave in the room. We did not use the pool this trip.”

• The hotel was clean, not much noise, and it took me 5 minutes to walk safely to the beach, and a fabulous Italian place.
• The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the room had a smell to it. Maybe came from the air conditioner.

“Overall... the location is great. Safe area, close to restaurants and the beach.. both walking distance. Also, it's right next to the freeway or the coast drive to get to other beaches!”
