• Rooms on freeway side are noisy.

• Elevator was extremely slow.

“The hotel was much nicer then I thought it was going to be for being so cheap. The rooms were nice, roomy and clean. There were tons of mirrors! The staff was super nice and my check in/check out was quick, simple and hassle free.”

• Staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Odor in the room, bath fan not working, bath faucet would not shut off.

“Acceptable rooms and good location though access roads a bit confusing for newcomer to the city. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool kept clean and offered good hours. Pool was warm which was great since it was located outdoors. Restaurant had great hours and breakfast was good. The supper options were limited for children if pizza was not their choice. He could have offered a hamburger, chicken fingers or grilled cheese perhaps for kids.”

• It did appear clean, location was near main hwy.
• Dated appearance, less than desirable area of town.

“I think it was a nice hotel at one time, it apparently is being cared for and kept up - but it is dated. Pool is outside - not much use most of the year, no whirlpool. Free breakfast but not very good. Restaurant over priced. Laundry facility - very poor. Room did have microwave and fridge - yeah! But all items did appear dated.”

• It was close to the areas we wanted to visit.
• The freeway noise at night was astonishing.

“Overall it was ok, the noise of the freeway was bad at night, but we were facing the freeway, it might be better facing away. Excluding that fact the room was very nice and the breakfast was great.”

• New carpeting, furniture, bedding was very nice!
• Although we were in a non smoking room, we noticed a smoke odor from the vent in the bathroom.

“The room was very clean and furnished very nice, except we were placed in one of 3 rooms on the ground (basement) level. The access to the highway is difficult, because of one way streets, but the directions given worked perfectly. Our non smoking room had a very definite smoke smell.”

• The swimming pool was nicely heated and very refreshing.
• I got food poisoning from the breakfast buffet.

“A pleasant hotel with clean rooms, very quiet ambiance, and nice pool. However, I got food poisoning within an hour of eating the breakfast buffet and was unable to hold anything down for 24 hours after. An unfortunate thing to have to report, but that's what happened.”

• Accommodating to my needs.

“Room and bed was very comfortable. Liked the small refrigerator and microwave. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet could use more choices, but staff promptly replenished items available. Overall, pleasant stay.”

• Friendliness of staff, great morning breakfast, location.
• Can't think of anything.

“I think the service was exceptional, the food was very good. The location was just what I needed. I was a little Leary because of a rating I read. Someone said they were on the freeway side, and the noise was bad, they couldn't sleep. I was on that side, and had no trouble what so ever. They must have left the window open! I would recommend the hotel to anyone.”

“Clean, nicely decorated. Great outdoor pool. Breakfast bar was in a restaurant, not a cramped spare room. Staff was wonderful.”

• A good value.
• Freeway noise affects one side of the hotel.

“A very decent place to stay and a good value. Its very easy to get to from the freeway and very near the center of the city. Breakfast is adequate. WiFi fine.”

• In this hotel you get more than what you pay for.
• Bathroom a little too old.

“Great hotel, great location, rooms that face highway are a little bit too noisy, there is a tip - Ask for rooms that end in par numbers, good free breakfast, great rate!”

• It had a pool.
• Restaurant was very hot, AC not working at all.

“The room was clean but smelled a bit as if perhaps someone had smoked in this non-smoking room a while ago. The restaurant was overheated and the food was below the standards of even quick meal I'd fix at home. We enjoyed the pool although the space around it was rather closed-in.”

• Were bothered by guests next door telling us to quiet down even though it was the weekend and we were just coming back to change.
