• The rooms were small --- and the restaurant was expensive.

• Hot shower. Clean bathroom.
• Continental breakfast was the same items everyday.

• Close to event.
• Had 3 people only got 1 bed.

“I did'nt consider this a 3 star hotel. bathroom was dated and not very clean. I booked for 2 adults and only got 1 queen bed had to pay extra for a rollaway. Staff was friendly and it was close to event. Free continental breakfast. restaurant was good but spendy.”

• The view for the continental breakfast was nice.
• Rats and the rooms were dirty

“Between the guest that had the dog barking alnight and the fact that some large rodant was making its nest in the celing above, we didn't get a winks sleep. Its hard to have a romantic evening ,when are grossed out by the fact that there are vermin. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was far below par. The previous guests room service dishes where left outside of our door during our entire stay, There was a used birth control patch left stuck to the note pad by the phone, and the rodants were somewhat of a turn off. am really not happy about having had to stay there. Very misrepresented.”

• The pillow top mattress made for a peaceful night's sleep.
• The service in the hotel restaurant was not the best!

“This RED LION hotel is extremely spread out. In order to get to the restaurant where the continental breakfast is served, you can either take your car and pray that there will be a parking space close to the lobby OR you can put your running shoes on to get you to the lobby via the long hallways. Overall, this is a nice, updated, older motel with very comfortable, well appointed rooms. I certainly would return there.”

• I liked the convenience of being right downtown.
• No outer sink, counter outside the bathroom.

• Convenient, reasonably priced, accommodating and has free parking.
• My wife said the complimentary breakfast buffet was messy.

“A 3 star hotel with easy access, friendly staff, and an on site restaurant with a good menu. The beds are quite comfortable, rooms are clean and spacious, and for those who need internet access, a free high speed server is available.”

• My room was located some distance from the lobby and restaurant

“It was what I expected from a 3 star hotel. Took some time to check in even though there was only one person ahead of me. My room was ready as soon as I arrived which was before normal check in by about an hour. ”

• Location along river walk.
• Hotel is an all frame hotel with no sprinklers. FIRE TRAP IN MAKING.

“Typical older hotel with modest upgrades that make it nice with location along river walk. Should be torn down and rebuilt to prevent loss of life if a fire happens here.”

• The rooms were large and comfortable and the view (etc.) was great.
• Bath room tile grout had black stains.

• They only had decaf coffee... Bummer...

“The Red Lion River Inn, located in Downtown Spokane, is centrally located and close to everything. Accomodations are spacious.I would definetely recommend this Hotel!”

• It was easy to find and had very comfortable beds.
• Nothing really

“The hotel was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. We were very busy while we were in Spokane but it was nice to have a clean, cool place to stay each night. (It was 100 degrees every day). We were able to enjoy the clean and refreshing pool only once but it was very nice.”

• usually good,but there was an incident there that blew the stay
• Drunken, rampaging guests outside our room for 40 minutes at two in the morning. Hotel denied any problem, until I asked more specific question.

“I'm familiar with this hotel...usually very nice, but with the drunken guest incident, it was a tough night. I felt unsafe when items were thrown at our window. (plants pulled from the gardens and talk of killing cops from these guests)I realize hotels cannot control guests behavior but this problem went on for about an hour and show have been taken care of by the management sooner. We almost called 911. My husband and I wanted to celebrate being together out of town for a rare chance and it just goes to show it's usually not worth the effort. ”
