• The manager was helpful.

• Every thing was not good.

• Clean, friendly, helpful staff, and good breakfast.

“I would stay there again, I visit my mom fairly often, it was clean, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast was good and fresh. It was a good location, close to downtown, shopping and restaurants.”

• The room was comfortable and plenty of channels on TV.
• Could have a better breakfast not much of a selection.

• Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, quiet.
• Although the room was on the back side and no road noise, the vacuum in the hall in the morning was pretty loud.

“I would stay here again. It was really clean, and had a microwave and refrigerator. Lots of channels on the TV. Located near the Doctor we were seeing the next day. Great price.”

• Nice room, comfortable beds and great breakfast.

“I liked this hotel and would stay there again. The staff was wonderful and the morning breakfast was good. The beds were soft and wow you did not have to pay for parking go figure. I would stay there without a doubt again.”

• Convenient location.
• Terrible maid service.

“Room was semi-clean when we arrived, but the next day our room was not cleaned at all. I didn't expect it to be completely re-cleaned, but it was not touched. The bathroom sink hadn't been wiped down, etc. It was not a pleasant site to come back to! We had an awful view out of our window, too! 10 feet from our window was the employee's smoke break area! Very messy, old chair, etc. Not pleasant at all. Would I stay here again? No!”

• Price and size of room.
• No hot water. sliding window would not lock, no AC in lobby.

“Fair, hot water not available at any point during my stay. Lobby was hot, hot, and hot. My room (single) was not ready when I arrived after check-in time so they upgraded me to a nicer room. Hmm, wonder what the room was like that had been assigned to me. I was afraid when I was unable to lock the big sliding window, so wedged lots of stuff in the running part of the window frame.”

• Staff was friendly.
• The room was not thoroughly cleaned.

“The room was not thoroughly cleaned. There was food in the fridge from the previous occupant and crumbs in the microwave. When I asked the front desk if housekeeping cleans the microwave and fridge, she responded not usually. The bed was very uncomfortable. Did not get a good night sleep. I will not stay there again.”

• Price.
• Difficulty with staff member when an inconvenience occurred during our trip.

“Our vacation included an unexpected occurrence not allowing my husband and I to follow our planned itinerary. A staff member at the Howard Johnson in Spokane was unwilling to work with us causing increased stress on an already stressful situation. Another staff member did assist two days later of which we appreciate.”

“Would not recommend this motel. Our car broke down and they would not extend check out time by an hour. Also after checking out, I needed to go to bathroom. They told me they didn't have a bathroom I could use.”
