• The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
• Parking was not so easy.

“This hotel is the perfect choice for events at the Spokane Arena. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is right along the river and well situated as a central location for a visit to Spokane.”

• The location next to the river and downtown was perfect.
• They forgot my wake-up call.

“This hotel was a real nice place to stay. The room was a little small and cramped, and they forgot to give me my wake-up call. I missed my appointment and had to spend extra time at the doctors office so they could get me in. Hotel gave me a lame excuse about missing the wake-up call. Manager said he would call me and follow up, but never did.”

• The bed was comfortable/ noise level was okay/
• Very little space at the foot of the bed/ we were tripping over one another.

“Overall, our stay was pleasant. The staff provided good service. Personally, I like to have a refrigerator in the room. Convenient location.”

• The bed was so comfortable.
• Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:00 am.

“Our overall experience was good. Very pretty and comfortable. The only bad thing was that housekeeping knocked on our door a little before 8:00 to clean. Check out wasn't until 12:00.”

• Wonderful location, very friendly and helpful staff.

“I checked in late in the evening with my 4 young children. We went to our room to find out they put all of us in a room with only 1 bed! Called the front desk and they immediately moved us into a room with 2 beds. We even had a beautiful view of the river. Kids loved the pool area and I loved the promptness of their helpful staff.”

• Great location, wonderful view, great big balcony.
• Bathroom was a bit small.

“Grade A location, rite on the river/park. The lounge had one of the best bartenders I have met! Beautiful place will stay again and again, its a new destination for Spokane.”

“For the price I paid, I can find nothing wrong with the Red Lion Inn at the Park. I hope to stay there in the summer, which I feel would be even better. The staff was great, and made us feel at home. They bent over backwards to make our stay even better.”

• Breakfast is not included in price and the breakfast is very spendy.
• Not enough parking.

“Very nice hotel, good location but the parking is a bit limited and breakfast is not included and it is pricey. But it is a great place for business and leisure travel. I did have a problem getting wireless in my room (too late in evening to be fixed that night) I informed the front desk and I was able to access the wireless the next day. The gym facilities very nice, good equipment that also has free weights and balancing balls, clean gym. I have stayed twice at this hotel and I would stay again.”

• Close to park to walk dog, and clean rooms.
• Parking is tough, and not being truthful about pets.

“All we got back was pets are welcome! So when we checked in, then we were hit with a $20 extra charge for the pet. And we were told that we had to be put in a different area, (away from the rest of our family) because of the pet. Wi-Fi is not that great. I was told by staff that if you bring your computer to the lobby, let it hook up, then take it back to your room, it might work OK after that. I did that, and it did work OK. Only thing is you need a good battery and be willing to look strange carrying a laptop up and down the hallways.”

• Good location to Downtown area. Concierge desk was very helpful on taking us to a restaurant
• View could have been better instead of parking lot.

• Location was close for walking to main attractions and great views of the river.
• Smokers (employees and no employees) at the entrance doors taking a drag.

“The room was spacious. Mattresses were comfortable. Wireless internet was convenient. The balcony was overly spacious would have easily fit 20-25 guest if I had time for a party. The decor was clean and tasteful. The fireplace in the lobby was cozy.”
