• The beds were the most comfortable beds
  I have ever slept on.
• The parking.

• Clean, upscale, and good size room.
• Parking fee, thin walls, no continental breakfast.

“This hotel was okay, but not worth the amount I paid! I stayed at the Red Lion across the river for half the price and had twice the amenities. The parking was $16/night which in my mind is very expensive for Spokane (the Red Lion was free)! I have eaten in their restaurant before, but chose not to this time because of the expense. The staff was very friendly and helpful which makes up for the rest, but I still feel I paid too much for the stay. They also have an airport shuttle which is nice and runs on time.”

• Great location within walking distance to downtown attractions.
• Had to pay $16/night for parking. That was expensive since many surrounding hotels have free parking.

“Room was clean and neat - for some reason we had a room with 2 double beds. My husband is tall so a queen bed would have been preferable. Bathroom was clean but dated. Parking was expensive at $16/night as many surrounding hotels offer free parking.”

• The mattresses were really comfortable and felt top notch. The linens were cushy and clean as well.
• The heater/fan system was very loud and came on intermittently through the night which woke us up several times.

“We were very pleased with the hotel and staff. The restaurant amenities on site were convenient and the food was good. We enjoyed the location near the river and could people watch a little. We would stay again.”

• The location and the great staff.
• The fire alarm going off at 1:10 am and having to walk down 10 flights of stairs.

“The overall experience at The Double Tree was wonderful. Even with the fire alarm going off. Turns out it was a false alarm.”

• Great location & very comfortable bed.
• The AC/heating fan was extremely loud cycling on and off through the night.

“Comfortable & lovely furnishings. We stayed just one night while visiting our child at Gonzaga and would stay again but only if the temps were such that we could leave the fan off all night to stay asleep.”

• The location of the hotel was great.
• The rooms seem to be pretty old and need some updating.

“This hotel is located right in Downtown Spokane. It is right near the river and our room had a view of the water and the park. The rooms were pretty old and our room had a very bad smell in the bathroom and closet. We were only there for one night so no need to complain as we were not in the room very long. It was a busy day as I believe there was come kind of convention but staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking is pretty expensive.”

• The lobby could be upgraded.

“The STAFF made all the difference. They were friendly, over accommodating, and extremely helpful with questions regarding the area and my business. Rooms were typical Starwood and sufficient.”

“Very friendly staff and reasonable price. The facility is not brand new but is kept clean. Located right next to the downtown park with great view. Parking is kinda expensive, but that is about the only negative point. It's got a pool too.”
