“Great location, very nice room. As previously noted by another guest, we only had hot water. The cold water was tepid. ”

• The location was perfect, easy to find, a lovely restaurant just across the street. We had a very enjoyable time.
• Liked it all.

• Great location, atmophere, and rooms. The beds were very comfortable.
• I can't think of anything.

“The Double Tree downtown is a great place to stay. Very clean. Great atmophere. The cafe has good food and Spencer's Steakhouse is top notch. It is right beside the opera house where we went to a show. The view is beautiful overlooking the river and park.”

• Nice beds, large room - nice downtown hotel.
• Check in staff were very bad, we waited 20mins to check in, parking is to far away and not marked well.

“We arrived around 10:30pm at the same time as airline employees, I was first in line but had to wait for 10-15 others to be checked in, in front of me.”

• Great beds, Five pillows per bed. Every thing you needed in the bath room.
• Construction in progress, made it unhandy. This is temporary.

• Only hot water available.

“The hotel was great except for one fatal flaw, there was no cold water. Can you imagine taking a shower in scalding hot water. Or having hot water in you toilet. When we notified the front desk we were sent four bottles of cold water. Obviously a plumbing problem that will be corrected. Too bad it happened while we were there.”

• No mention that their pool will be closed for remodel until next JULY. Disappointed grandkids.

• Helpful and accommodating.
• Entrance to the hotel was all torn up and there was heavy construction all around.

“The hotel was very clean and quiet despite heavy construction all around. We brought our two dogs and they were welcomed with open arms, in fact many people had dogs there which was nice to see.”

• Parking is extra.

“The hotel has a plumbing problem which is known to the staff. The cold water facet is hot and hot water facet is hotter. You have to let the cold water run from the sink and tub to flush the hot water out. This takes a couple of minutes to accomplish.”

• The room was very clean and attractive. A warm cookie was offered at check-in.
• The front desk staff was not at the front desk on my arrival and check-out.

“The quality of this hotel was very good. I think the location is not bad for walking into town. There are many restaurants nearby. It was excellent. ”

• Upon leaving I left a list of "glitches" at the front desk, the young lady dashed outside to remedy one then.
• Not enough attention to little details - no choice of cookie at check-in, no coffee stirrers in room.

“Beautiful room, great location for access to downtown and the park. The lobby is comfortable. Delicious cookies.”

• Pool was under renovation.

“We liked this hotel enough that we decided to book it a week later on our return from Canada after a week of vacation. When the construction is done, we will use this hotel again.”

• when we realized our shower wasn't draining properly, it took less than 10 min. for a maintenance response...awesome!

“Friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Good food. We live in the area and just wanted a quick get away. We will definitely return for dinner in the near future.”
