“When we checked in, we discovered there was someone squatting in our hotel room. We demanded (and got) another room with a dead-bolt. There was an envelope strongly suggesting we tip the cleaning person, but there were moldy old grounds in the coffeepot. The soda machine is locked up at 9 pm and the bathroom had peeling paint and rotting grout.”

“Our 16 year old daughter was in the hospital & passed way the staff at the hotel were very kind & understanding. I thank you & them for having the price line available other our stay in Spokane would have been even worse. We did not need to worry about where we could afford to stay.”

“My coworker decided to get a room at the same motel. Anyway, my coworker complained that his carpet was gross. My carpet was fine, and mine was a smoking room. His was nonsmoking, and he wasn't too impressed. I thought it was a nice stay.”

“The hotel was dated but clean, nice waffle breakfast and located close to I90 and the major roads of Spokane, Division and Sprague.”

“Hotel needs help - located in a seedy area of downtown Spokane - no security officer noted. Hotel is well past needing an update. Don't want this one again.”

“Located in downtown Spokane. Next door to a hopping alternative lifestyle bar. Close to the mall, movie theater, and library. Easy access to the highway and restaurants close by.”

“Very convenient location. There is a rowdy bar at the entrance to the parking lot and people loitering on the sidewalk. I don't think it's an appropriate location for families. That being said, we were only there to sleep, so the price was right.”

“Inexpensive and a great downtown location. The staff was very friendly and offered assistance and directions around town. However, my non-smoking room smelled horrible and was Nauseating. Also, the beds were not the most comfortable. Tub was well used and worn. But it was an economy hotel.”

“Located in downtown Spokane, the roadway inn Spokane is well located. Close to the Spokane river and Spokane falls, the inn is a good staging spot, but it lacks any real character. The rooms are small, and the queen bed was extra firm. Only some of the rooms are "hot-spotted" for wireless internet, and they do not offer internet connection otherwise.”

“I had reserved two rooms. One had been renovated, the other had not been. Both rooms had numerous items that didn't function. The older room smelled terribly. The carpet was worn and stains all over it. Bathroom heat lights didn't work in either room. Knob missing from microwave. I requested a change of rooms for my elderly mother in the old room and the desk person told me, "If she dies during the night, Iżll give you half off on the room price"!”

“This was not like the 1 Star motel I stayed at in Nevada. This place was a dump - you charged me $70 with taxes for a dive. The bedding had red stains (we think it was blood), and yellow stains. You should refund me my money. TV was horrible, no Internet access, and smelly room.”

“The rooms smelled of cigarettes and I had to wash everything, including jackets, and air out our bags when we got home. The showers barely functioned and when we got ready to check out my husband notices a syringe stashed on top of the light bar above the sink in the bathroom. It was a very unpleasant stay and I would never recommend this place to anyone who was not a chain smoker.”

“There is not enough parking for the number of rooms and it is very noisy at night - not an ideal location, especially since we had children with us. The night manager was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was an added plus.”

“Fortunately noise does not bother me as the location in downtown meant lots of nighttime activity on the street but 24 hour desk clerk helped me feel secure. Happy to discover that there were guest laundry facilities, a fridge and microwave in the room, breakfast available in the lobby, and the best was that there was a fitness room! Very happy with my stay.”

“There was only about 5 parking stalls available. We decided to walk to where we needed to go in order to avoid losing our parking place and having to park in dark and what appeared to be unsafe parking lots in a bad area of the city.”
