“We stayed at this motel twice in January-February 2007. The first visit was fine. We had a room away from the noisy expressway, perfectly adequate if nothing special. We decided to book the same room for our return trip three weeks later, as it's convenient to the airport. When we arrived the second time, we were told our reservation had been changed from room 108, which we had in fact reserved, to a room on the second floor. I cannot go up stairs, so that room was useless to us! We were finally told (bait and switch) that there was a more expensive room available on the first floor. We were very tired, so we took it, under protest. The room was awful! It was right by the expressway, very noisy. The toilet was not firmly attached to the floor, and it rocked when we sat on it. There was a strange noise all night long that sounded like coffee brewing, so we kept waking up and thinking it was morning. It wasn't the fault of the motel, but a car alarm at the room next to ours kept going off, so we got very poor sleep - for a premium price. In the morning there was trash by our door and around the car. That morning a manager was there, so I again protested having to pay extra for an inferior room, after having specifically reserved the room we wanted. He was completely unhelpful, telling us we should have reserved by using the 800 number rather than in person! The people there just did not get it that they had a responsibility to live up to their end of the agreement. The best thing about the place was good Internet access.”

“This hotel stunk up the kazoo. It had a funny smell, too. And I could barely understand the lobby fellow through the 4 inch thick glass (which let us know what a bad hotel it was, too) and the thick accent. When we arrived only 1 light bulb worked total and the place was falling apart. Ok if you're on an extreme budget though and you're young and don't mind the people arguing loudly upstairs.”
