“Thick walls to block out noise of close traffic and guests in neighboring rooms. Room was easy to access and roomy and spacious.”

“It was right on the freeway and very noisy, only 1 pillow each, old pillows at that mattress was marginal. All the furniture was very old and beat up. Phone didn't work at all - no dial tone. Very disappointed.”

“Photo of hotel is so very cropped so it doesn't show the giant freeway overpass directly overhead or the train tracks directly behind that woke us up repeatedly throughout the night. Not close to the mission at all. Hotel Wi-Fi didn't work and when front desk was called they only offered an 800 tech support number. And using the term "continental breakfast" was a complete stretch. Try Svenhard's crappy plastic-wrapped fast food Danishes and a pamper of coffee with powdered creamer. That's it. Total crap experience. Oh, and by the way, it was the first night of our honeymoon.”

“The hotel was located between 2 major highways and Amtrak rail lines and also sandwiched between 2 fast-food joints. The only way I could have been farther from the ocean was for me to have stayed back home in Minnesota. Coupled with the fact that the only thing that could have made this hotel more noisy was if the hotel was slated for demolition with me still being inside it.”

“It was the nastiest, dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Our feet were black from the never-cleaned carpet, the bathtub was falling apart, there were stains on the bedspread. It was disgusting and I had to go to a different hotel the 2nd night.”

“Next to a freeway, a police vehicle was parked across the street, the room smelled and when I woke up in the morning a large moth was flying around.”

“The hotel carpet was dirty, the tables and night stand tops were sticky. The room was musty.”
